Dragging him out of the van, I clicked the lock button for the vehicle, the flashing lights confirming it and pushed him into the warehouse.

"Well well well, what do we have here?" Ian scoffed, playing around with the pistol in his hand, swinging it around his finger like a bunch of keys whilst leaning his arm on the bench. Walking towards us, his cocky smile grew as he came further towards Oliver, "Oliver man, how've you been?" He lightly tapped his shoulder as a friendly gesture before knocking him with his gun on the side of his face. "Twat."

Pulling him down the stairs and into the basement, I strapped him to the chair that was placed in the middle of the room, the lights dimmed and a spot of light beaming on the center of the room where Oliver sat.

"You wanna know what really made me laugh?" I asked, walking around him in a circle, making sure the darkness was covering me so he wouldn't know where I was, "The fact that you actually thought you could take me down, after everything I've done for you. I taught you the things you know, and you really thought leaving for us for some other shit was going to help you?" Going behind him, I crouched down to his ear, "Look at how wrong you were." I seethed in a sing-song voice, laughing as he struggled with the ropes. "Seems like you're not the only one who's learned a few new tricks since you've been gone."

"Look, I'm sorry for what I did, I know it was wrong-" He began before my sarcastic laugh cut him off

"Wrong? Oliver mate, you broke the rules. It's beyond wrong, and for that you'll have to pay the consequences."

"But if you let me go I can help you," He spoke fast like if he didn't get his words out in time he'd be dead. He wasn't wrong.

"What could you possibly help me with?" I scoffed

"Gareth." A scowl plastered across my face at that name. Anger flooding through my veins. "Gareth Reagan."

"What about him?" I spat bluntly, crossing my arms so I wasn't tempted to swing my fist at him for speaking his name

"He's after you,"

"News flash, everyone's after me, now what's your point?" I stepped closer so he could see my face, "What does he want?"

"He wants his daughter back, and you're the only person standing in his way." Oliver's head was hung low, but you could see the small smirk on his lip as he chuckled to himself

"What's so funny?" Uncrossing my arms, I crouched in front of him, gun in hand.

"Nothing, just I never thought you'd get a girl, of any of us I expected it to be Ian."

"There's no 'us' anymore." His smirk vanished, "And my personal life is none of your business, but so help me if you lay even one fucking finger on her I will make sure you regret it." Standing up, I walked back into the darkness again, where he couldn't see me, "So you've been working for Gareth?"

"Here and there but not permanently. I can give you all the information you need if you just let me go."

"No no, it doesn't work like that I'm afraid."

"Shouldn't you be with that bitch now anyway? Weren't you going to give her flowers or something before we caught you?"

Anger began flowing like a waterfall out of my body, I snuck up in front of him and swung for his face. A yelp escaped his mouth, signaling I'd most likely broken his nose, as I'd hoped for. "Don't you ever speak about her like that again. Do you hear me? Ever." I spat, sending one last kick for his shins before turning around and leaving.

"Ian!" I yelled

"Yes, Boss?" He was with me in a second, my most trustworthy friend.

"Take care of him, I'm going to see Melody. Chris, come with me for backup, apparently somebody's on our trail."

"Gareth?" Ian asked

"The one and only," I signed, internally rolling my eyes at the sound of his name, "He's a fucking lunatic if he thinks i'm going to let him take Melody away from me."

"You really like her don't you?"

"I love her."

"Have you found Shawn yet? Is he okay? Please tell me you've found him." Tears welled up in my eyes as I replayed the last time I'd spoken to him in my mind, in case that would be the last time I'd ever see him

"Not yet, Mel," Harriet sighed, "Ian said he'd text as soon as they got him."

As a tear rolled down my cheek, I reminisced his features and his chocolate swirls for eyes as I remembered the feeling of his warm, engulfing hugs and soft curly hair as I ran my hand through his thick locks.

As if on queue, Harriet's phone beeped as she scrambled to answer it, a smile forming on her face as she unlocked the screen and read the message. Waiting impatiently, Harriet looked up at me with the biggest grin on her face, signaling good news.

"They found him."

The weight that had been holding down my heart in pain for the past day was lifted as a smile spread across my face.

"And looks like you have company." Opening the blind of the hospital door, his face shone through like the sun bursting through the clouds on a rainy day.

As tears fell down my cheeks from happiness and relief, I slid out of my bed and over to the door, opening it as fast as I could as he embraced me in the longest and most meaningful hug I've ever had. "I missed you so much, you have no idea." I cried, a smile spreading across my face

"If it was as much as I missed you, I think I have a pretty good idea." Lifting my chin, he connected our lips in a blissful, passionate kiss, which lasted for a total of around ten seconds but felt like a lifetime, everything around me melts away when I'm with him.

"I love you so much," I stayed, connecting my eyes with his

"I love you so much more, angel. and I always will."
