Chapter 25

I wake up to the sound of my mom opening the curtains in my room.
She used to do that before I left. Even though I used to complain about it I missed it.

"Good morning Alex we missed you so much.
-I missed you too mom."
She walks next to my bed and lays a kiss between my eyebrows.
"Your dad is still sleeping when he wakes up we'll go out.
-What about Jake?
-Oh , Jake went to work for summer camp. He'll be back a few days before school starts again."
I look over my desk and find a plate of homemade pancakes with ice cream. My favorite.
I sit in bed and I have my breakfast.

   

I just finished video calling the boys. I missed them so much . I'm home with my parents on a Saturday morning and it feels empty without the boys.
My parents leave leaving the house to myself.
I try to busy myself with unpacking, and redecorating my room with the new souvenirs but nothing really take my mind of Cal's annoying begs for music, Mike's constant yelling because he lost, Ash's constant screaming and Luke's surprise kisses and lame jokes.

Just 2 weeks .

                                                                                           
Luke's P.O.V

We're all sitting in Alex's room. After we got to Australia she stayed with us for 2 weeks so we decided on decorating her room . Even though she fought against it we convinced her into doing it.
She left yesterday and we all feel lost and empty without her.
It's like she was the life of our party.
We just hanged up from a long video chat with her but it didn't seem enough. I miss her alot.

We all just sit in her room and write songs and stuff just like when she was here.

The boys are talking about throwing a party and I'm lost in my thoughts.
I have to ask her to be my girlfriend. But it has to be special.

"Guys I need your help.
-In what Luke?
-I'm going to ask Alex to be my girlfriend when we get back."
Ash chokes on his drink. Cal and Mike look at me with a smile on their face but it changes to concern towards Ash.

"Ash , man are you okay?
-Yes , I'm fine . Thanks Mike."
He rubs his mouth clean with the sleeve of his shirt and looks at the bed before talking to me.

"So things are that serious between you?
-I guess so. I know I like her and I think she likes me too. Which I doubt but either way I'll ask her.
-What are you planning to do?
-I don't know Mike. I was thinking , that I sing her a song and ask her. But with her entire family.
-Didn't she say they have a house in the forest and every week all her family meets there?
-Yes, so I'll ask her there. Thanks Cal."

I sprint off the bed and go towards the mall. I know what I'm going to do and she'll love it.

             

Alex's P.O.V

It's Sunday and my parents had to leave for some family things and they left me home alone.

I call the girls talking them in one of those girls night out.
We agreed on meeting in my house, get ready here , head to a summer party the ones held by the school and then we crash at my house in thr edge of the forest.

At 5 the girls walk in. Juliet , Jane  , Kate and Alyssa.

We're sitting across my bedroom doing the party ritual of manicures and face masks.

"So Alex, now the boys are not here tell us what really happened between you and Luke."

Juliet looking at me with her googly eyes. The rest just wait for my response. I just smile at the floor. It flatters me how well they know me.

"We're sort of together.
-You
-Have
-To
-Be
-Kidding Me!"
I laugh at their answer. It's like seriously we're the weirdest group of teenagers you'll find.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!!"
Juliet takes me by the shoulders and shakes the living God out of me. I push her off, and fix my position.

"Geez calm down ,I'll tell you.
-So, when did all of this happen?
-Can you shut up Kate?!
-Thank you , Alyssa and it happend at the end of the first month. In Disneyland. Actually the picture that took over media has a side story. Luke and I took  a walk earlier that day and he kissed me . Then back in the bus he asked me out and I refused because I still had in mind how I didn't want to hurt Shawn. So Luke got mad at me and we had to write a song so he said *a song about a girl that goes around breaking hearts*. "

I use my fingers to quote Luke's words.

"So I wrote the song and left the bus. Luke was calling for me and then he prevented the car from bursting my brain. The next day Arzyalea walked in. Luke tried talking to Paul about leaving her but Paul wouldn't budge. The next day Arzyalea picked a fight with me. Then in Florida we were in the Ferraris wheel and he tells me he likes me and we kiss. The next day I talk to Paul get fired then rehired and Luke leaves Arzyalea.
-How was your first hookup?
-What?
-Alex who are you kidding? You are dating the guy and you spent all those months with him in the same bus , plane  and hotel. And anyways we're non virgins . So same.
-First , Alyssa you didn't have to make it sound so weird and second I did sleep next to him and Cal. At firsr Luke but when Arzyalea joined , I slept next to Cal and then after Luke and I began dating I went back to staying with him.
-Omg! What better revenge than sleeping with your crushes best friend.?
-The fuck , I'm not a monster. They would sleep next to me after.."

Shit I forgot  only Kate and Alyssa know about my dreams in the middle of the night. Juliet has guessed a few times and I think she's close to a conclusion. Thankfully, Kate sees the worried look on my face and changes the subject.

"Okay, so how did it feel to lose it to Luke Hemming?
-Mmmm, I don't know. It was great for sure and he was actually sweet that he mads sure I wasn't in a lot of pain . He also asked my if I was sure to lose it. It made things abit awkward but we continued.
-We need details.
-Ahkkk! No Jane. It's already weird enough I'm telling you I lost my virginity."
We all laugh. The sound of laughter filling the room. We should do this more often.
"So are you Bf Gf or what?
-Actually no Juliet , he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet but it would be awkward if he did.
-Hey, guys want to ditch the party and stay here?
-Yeah , why not?
-Sure.
-Yasss,
-Qui!!
-Si!
-I swear if someone could listen to us they'd think we're crazy.
-Oh , don't worry Alex they wouldn't be wrong."
I roll my eyes at Kate's comment and the rest just laugh.
We spend the night in my room watching movies , eating like pigs and gossiping like the dimwits we are.

I guess these 2 weeks will go by fast.
