Luke's P.O.V

We're all looking at Alex, waiting for her response. If she says no I don't know what this band might do.
She's the only good songwriter we've seen . Besides that, she's sweet, funny and from what I've learned we'll get along well.
I'm not going to lie. I think I like her.
She looks at her mom waiting for approval. Her mom is still in shock but she nods her head.
Is Alex going to be part of the 5sos family?

Alex's P.O.V

Everyone has their eyes on me. Even my mom.
She knows what I'm thinking.
I want to go but I'm scared of what I'll lose on the way.

But for once in my life , I push my negative thoughts to the back of my mind and take a risk.
"I would love to be your songwriter.."
The guys jump over me giving me a bear hug. Which was adorable. They all smell so good.

Paul looks happy."Alex you know you have to drop school for 3 months."

"Actually no the day after we get back to Wisconsin will be my last day."

"So you're leaving tomorrow?"

"Yes, and I guess I'll be back on Friday."

"2 days to pack perfect." My mom says sarcastically.

The smile on Luke's face keeps glowing. Little pieces of my body turn into fireworks.

"We only have one problem Mr.Paul."

"And that would be? Also call me Paul."

"Convincing my dad to let me travel all over the world ,with 4 boys that aren't my brother ,him or my cousins." They all laugh at my comment.

"I'll talk to him tonight.Your flight leaves tomorrow night"

"Yes, well that's enough time to convince him."

He thanks my mom and leaves.
The guys hang around for a while till 4am.
They leave saying tomorrow they'll explain more about the tour.They all hug me goodbye and leave.

"Alex you know what can happen while you're gone?"

"Yeah, I'll build my future and have a career, make my dreams come true and will do something for 3 months instead of sitting on the couch all day."

"Alex are you sure about this?"

"Yes mom."

"I'll talk to your dad tonight and tomorrow we'll find out."

"Goodnight mom."

"Goodnight sweetie."She gives me a small kiss on the cheek and enters her bedroom.

Sleep is not my friend tonight.
I toss and turn not being able to sleep a wink.
I decide to tell my friends.

Group chat:
Alex:guys I'll be leaving with a tour with 5sos for 3months. I'll be back the last 2 days of school!!!

Kate:Omg! You're going to be with 5sos for 3 months!!

Shawn:wtf alex?

Mike:Congrats!! Shawn be happy for her!

Adam:Alex we're so proud of you!

Jane:Alexxxxxxxx!!!
I'm so happy for you!!!

Juliet: Alex dreams do come true!!

Alyssa:Remember that Ashton is mine!

I scroll through the messages and I feel my heart burst with love for them. I can tell Shawn is annoyed but he's happy for me. Well I think so.

At the same time it's unusual, because they actually seems happy for me .

I barely sleep.

I wake up at the sound of 4 men talking and my bedroom door open and sudden screaming and jumping on the bed.

"Alex wake up!"

I open my eyes and see Ash, Cal , Mike jumping above me while Luke and my mom look at us with amusement.

Thankfully the boys give me my privacy to shower and change.

I wear a pink summer dress with black vans. I put a flower crown on my head and a dab of pink lip gloss and a bit of mascara.

We have breakfast in our room. They guys making me snort my chocolate milk every once in a while.

We spend the day touring and talking.
My mom leaves us alone after lunch so I can get to meet the boys .

Ashton is driving with Mike in shotgun ,Luke and Cal squishing me in the middle.

"Alex , what time does your plane leave?"

"I think like at 10."

"Okay so we better get back to the hotel ."

"Okay."Ashton keeps eyeing me from the mirror.

We arrive at the hotel and sit in the island .
I sit on one of those bar chairs and I can hear the conversation between my mom , Paul and my dad.

The guys sit silently trying to hear the murmurs coming from my mom's bedroom.
After like 20 minutes my mom , Paul and my dad on the screen. Come out with smiles on their faces.

"Alex I would like to welcome you to the 5sos family!" Paul says.

"Oh okay." I dismiss it and look back at my cup in front of me till his words register in my head again.

The reality of what he said hits me in the face and "Wait what!" I squeal and  fall on the ground.

Luke rushes to the rescue and helps me up.
"Welcome to the 5sos family." He says it with the biggest smile , my heart fluttering .

I haven't even gotten on the bus and I know these boys will flip my life around.
