Chapter 36

                                                                        

It's almost 7 and I'm dressed and ready to go.
I don't know where Luke is taking me so I stick to a knee high dress and convers. Alyssa decided on staying with me to help me pick out my clothes.

The  door bell rings and Alyssa answers it , letting my extremely hot boyfriend in. The word still feels weird. It's like when you're trying something exotic, you like it but it's new.

"Loui told me he was taking you out tonight."
"Well, what can I say. I'm a catch." I laugh at Alyssa. Queen of no modesty.

"Let's go. Aly you sleeping over?" Luke most of told her something behind my back because she shakes her head yes then no.

"Where are we going Luke?" I ask , while sitting shotgun. "Where I'll be able to show you the universe"  he is smiling. His lips reaching under his eyes. Where is he taking me ?

                                                  

We get to a new building , I haven't seen in town. It looks new and sort of a museum.
Luke opens my door , takes my hand and walks me in. He's been trying to hold my hand in public since we kissed in Disney, but I've been avoiding it. After , he told all the world there is no reason to hid it.

"Luke where are we?" I ask again. He stops, turns around and faces me. I'm so short compared to him , the top of my head reaches his jaw line. "Alex , trust me you'll like it" I just nod and I follow. He knows I hate surprises. Why does he keep on doing them? Actually why does he keep acting like a deserve them?

He keeps walking, and gets to the front desk.
"I would like 2 tickets please." The woman hands Luke 2 tickets, he pays and we keep walking.

"Okay , sunshine, I need to close your eyes right now"  he says getting behind me.
"Luke I'll fall." He turns me around him, holding me by the waist."Alex , don't you trust me?" I look at him , like focus on him. The way his soft ocean blue eyes calm stormy seas inside me , how his smile brightens my day , how his voice mixes my brian , how his touch tingles through all my body. So no I don't trust him , but at the same time I trust him with my life. I just can't trust myself around him .Unable to answer I just smile and nod.

He turns around and takes me by the waist , guiding me through the dark passage.
"Okay, ready?" I nod." 5.4.3.2.1. TADA!!!!"
I uncover my eyes. Everything is out of focus, my eyes adjusting to the dark.

We're standing on a bridge, everything is black and we are alone." Set them on" Luke yells. Slowly lights appear, stars constellations, the sun , the planets , the universe. I smile remembering Luke's words.

I'm dumbfounded by the view around me. I've always been obsessed over our universe.
When I was younger my dad used to say that stars where lost dreams finding their ways to their hosts. For a really long time a believed him till I was old enough to understand what they were. The universe in my point of view is a hole , a void, never ending , it's huge. Other planets, maybe other lives. So when I feel the world is falling apart I look at the night sky and think about other places. It literally takes me out of this world.

I never told Luke that I loved the sky. "Luke, how did you know?" I ask him. He wraps his arms around my stomach, getting closer to me and pressing his lips to my ear. " I noticed the way you got lost in the stars. It's the same way I get lost in you" I'm so close to screaming I love him. It's moments like this that get me on the verge of saying it. But I have to keep it to myself. I can't do this to him. I can't do this to myself....
