Chapter 55

5 Days Later
(April 23, Sunday)
Alex's P.O.V

It's Sunday and Luke is still not going. No matter what I say or do.

I have no idea what to do , and breaking his heart seems to be the only way.

I asked Luke to sleep over , so Ashton and the boys can pack his things .

"Morning Lukey" I say , poking his dimple. He smiles, one of those lazy morning smiles , that make your heart beat a little faster. I kiss it before kissing his lips.

"Morning sunshine" he pecks my lips again, turning to face the ceiling. I climb on top of him , laying on his lap. His hands travel up my legs , resting on my hips.

"You know I love you Alex ?" He says , while trailing circles on my skin , sending shivers down my spine." I love you Lukey." His hand goes up my back, pulling me down towards him. Our lips inches apart. "I love you more" he pecks my nose , a cheeky grin on his face.

"The things you make me want to do to you." He says, mischievously. I bite my lip , and stare at his puddles of blue.
"Then why don't you?" I ask , with a smirk on my face. He takes his lip ring between his teeth, his hands traveling up my legs.
He leans in , our lips brushing against each other"Not today." He moves back, a slight chuckle escaping his lips. I scuff , and turn around, laying next to him.

He stands up , and changes from his pyjama pants to his usual skinny jeans, topping it off with a black tank top.
"The boys are leaving in like 4 hours. We'll hang out with them and we'll spend the rest of the day together." He takes my face in his hands , pecking my lips softly. I savour the moment, knowing after today I won't be able to taste his lips for long.

My eyes wonder around the room , remembering all the little moments that happened in this small pink room.

"Alex are you okay?" I snap out of my daze , and stare at his blue eyes. "No I'm fine." I say quickly." Sure? Because your eyes are darting all over the room , and you seem too lost in thought." I smile at how well he knows me , taking his hand." I'm okay, just have a few things on mind." I say , with a small smile. He smiles , taking my hand to his lips , and pressing a soft kiss on it.

" I love you Alex"
"I love you Lukey."

"Ashton what am I going to do?" I ask for the third time today. I told them to come to my house , so Luke doesn't see his bags.
But I have no idea, how I'm going to convince him to get on that plane.

"Alex I have no idea , we've been trying to convince him all week." I shake my head , covering my face with my hands.

He can't lose his job, career and dreams for me.
Not for a broken girl..

"He can't lose his job" Ashton wraps an arm around my shoulder , pulling me towards him. "He must have a really good reason to stay. I get that he loves you. But losing his career for you , even though you both can do it , is crazy." I turn around to face him , with a puzzled look on my face. He's not making me feel any better.

"I mean . You've been through this before. You both really love each other, so you can keep a long distance relationship. But Luke must have his reasons for staying behind, some really important reasons." He looks at me , his eyes searching mine. He's been thinking about this for a while , they all are.

Without Luke , 5 seconds of summer wouldn't be the same . They would still be a great band , but not the same.

If I only knew what was the reason, keeping him from his entire career.
