Chapter 52

~(14_ March) 1 month later~
~Alex's P.O.V~

When they say laying in bed is the best thing after a long day, they lie.

The best thing after a long day, is sitting in your boyfriend's lap, with your best friends and a bottle of wine being passed around the small crowd.

"So it turns out Bri was 3 months pregnant, so she thought it was your baby?" Loui just nods to Kate's question.
"That's so dumb. I can't believe you never did the DNA tests like before."I nod agreeing to her words. The bottle of wine passes from Luke's hand to mine. I take a swig and pass it to Adam.
"I believed her. I was dumb" he says chuckling.
"Still are" Alyssa answers , a grin on her face.
"Yeah, but at least I got you" he kisses her, getting a 'boo' from all of us.
"Ewwww PDA!" I say before crashing my lips onto Luke's.
Mo and Jane ,Alyssa and Loui, Mike and Jane follow our moves. Kate just kisses the screen where she has Tom's picture.

"Look who's talking!" Juliet says , looking over us.
"Why do I feel we are all going to end up alone. Juliet and the three bachelors" we all giggle.

After a bottle and a half of wine , giggling is the only thing we seem to do.

"That sounds like a terrible show. I wouldn't watch it" Mike says.
"We'll it's about to happen. The only single people​ in this room are Ashton, Shawn Adam and I . I could go out with one and the other 2 can turn gay" Juliet says. Trying to sound funny.

Luke just glares at me. No one knows about my brother's phase. No one, besides Luke.

Mo and Adam give each other weird looks , I'm the only one that notices because they turn pale when I ask.
"What's going on you two? You do that when you're hiding something from us."
Adam just nods at Mo .

"Guys, we're leaving in three days to Dubai . My dad got a promotion there , so we're leaving. We didn't want to say anything until the day before. We're sorry, but there's nothing we can do." Mo's words are cold and emotionless.

I can tell from where I'm sitting all the pain in his words. He doesn't want to leave , neither does Adam, but they have to.

Jane breaks down, leaving the house, Mo running after her. We all just sit there , not talking , not moving.

We are losing our little group...

"If everyone is confusing, I should too.." I snap my gaze at my older cousin, terrified by the words that might leave her mouth.
"I'm also leaving, tomorrow actually.." she chuckles, wiping her eyes." They called me a month ago. I got a job in Brazil. And I accepted it. I also couldn't bring myself to tell you." Mike looks at her , blinking, his hands clutched into fists.

"I'm sorry I couldn't tell you. This is the last time I see you all for a really long time" and the tears spill.

I stand up hugging my cousin goodbye, crying. I don't know if it's the alcohol, but my tears seem to come stronger, and the pain in my chest more defying.

Mo and Jane walk in , both with stained cheeks. They look at us and the mess we are.
"What happened?" Mo asks , holding on to Jane's hand.
"Gwen is leaving tomorrow.."Calum's voice pierces through the room.

We all go around giving her our goodbyes, and Mike leaves with her.

Adam and Mo also say their final goodbyes, Jane leaves with them too.

Everything is falling apart and there's no way to stop it. We grew up together, we can't just tear apart like this.

This is what hope does to a person. You tell yourself they are not going to leave, but deep down you know they will. Till the day comes, everything hits you harder than it should, because you were expecting a forever, when you just got a while..
