Chapter 26

Hi guys I'm going to change a bit my style of writing dialogue. Please don't hate me.

~1.5 weeks later~

"Hey, Sunshine." I smile at sound of my nickname.
"Hi , Luke. I missed you." I turn around and look through my living room window towards the house next door.
"I missed you too. I'll see you in two days. You can wait two days without Mr. Hottie right?"
I can see him laughing on the phone.
"Yeah, actually I can. I can go months without him." I smile while thinking about the pout growing on his face.
"You can't handel it sunshine." I open the window and see people moving furniture into the house.
That house has been for sale for the past 5 years. Who suddenly decided to buy it?

"Hey , Alex you there?" I snap out of my daze and answer Luke. "Yeah , just that someone bought the house next door. It's been in sale for 5 years and we used to sneak up and stay there.." I get cut off by some shouting in the background.
"Luke! Man come!" It's Cal. Ahkk I miss him yelling at us and bossing us around.
"Cal I'm talking to Alex!" Luke shouts back.
"Luke, it's fine I'll talk to you later say hi to the boys." He pauses for a second before answering.
"Okay, thanks talk to you later" , and with that he hangs up.

I call the girls and we decide on heading to the
Country club .

Thankfully my mom left me her car here so I have a ride. I grab the cooler from the garage and fill it up with snacks and drinks. I then go up stairs and pack my bag. Just a change of underwear, a summer dress , vans and toiletries. I wear my bathing suit under the tank top and shorts. I decide on going just with my flip flops. I tie my hair up in a messy bun and wear my sun glasses.

I hear my phone ring from downstairs. It must be Luke so I run to get the phone when it turns out to be Jane asking if I can also pick her up.

I guess I'm picking all the girls up.

Its take me 10 minutes to pick them all up. Practically we all live in the same area. There's like a house or two differences between all our houses.

We're carpooling in the car right now to "What Makes You Beautiful" and when I hit the notes they all look surprised that I actually did that.

"Since when do you sing Al?" Jane shouts over the radio. "All my life , it's just that I don't like going on stage and telling people I sing . It brings too much attention."
They all start laughing. I lower the volume of the radio trying to ask them why.

"Why are you laughing?" I ask curiosity taking over me. "Alex sweetie, you are 5sos's songwriter and you and Luke are in a relationship.." Before Juliet can continue Alyssa cuts her off continuing herself.
"Attention is your middle name now." We all laugh .

I see the club's sign ahead when Juliet talks.
"By the way the boys are joining us." They all nod in a agreement , but I feel my heart drop.
I haven't seen Shawn since I arrived and his words are still in my head.
What did he mean by Doesn't mean I won't try to win you back?

We get to the club , I look for seats for all of us which is 8 people. I find a place between the pool and a small dinner. I set my things and relax under the sun.

The girls settle down next to me and shortly after that the boys come with their noise. I roll my eyes at the thought of them ever doing something without bringing attention or making noise.

We say our hellos and spread all over the chairs. Out of nowhere, I feel my seat move hitting something else. I open my eyes and find Shawn, Mike and Adam pushing all our chairs together to make this like huge table/seat .

It's actually a good idea. In the middle of all of the chairs they put the coolers for us to easily take our snacks.

The day goes on like that. A few dives in the pool, pushing each other in, eating, arguing about something dumb, gossiping (even the boys) and planning on our next adventure.

"Hey, guys how did you come here?" Shawn asks us as we are putting away our things.
"They all came with me why?" I bet he's going to ask for s ride."Mike and Adam are not going home so can I hijack your ride?" I knew it!
"Yeah , sure but one of the girls will have to sit on your lap."
"As long as it's you I don't mind." He a smirk tugging his lips. I roll my eyes and throw him my towel hard on the chest. He just laughs at me. Like usual.

I finished dropping off everyone there's only Shawn left . He decided on driving and I happily agreed because I'm so tired.

We're in the driveway of his house and all the lights in house are off. I guess his parents are out .

"Thanks for the ride." I take of my belt before answering him. "Well you drove so no need to thank me." He looks at me and takes off the keys from the engine."Alex you look like you're going to fall asleep. I'm not letting you drive home." He sounds worried and it's so cute.
"Nah, it's fine. Anyways if you take me home how would you come back?" He raises his eyebrow at me and tugs the side of his sleeve.
"Alex my parents are home you can stay. They won't mind and my sister misses you. " I think what he's trying to do. "Alex ,you've slept over before. Don't go all stranger danger on me." I laugh at stranger danger. We used to say that when he did weird things in public.

"Shawn , my house it's two minutes away. Im not even sleepy ,you are just being over dramatic." When people say I'm a drama queen I just laugh knowing that the biggest drama queen ever is Shawn. He is so freaking dramatic.

Shawn and I get out of the car. I'm sitting in the driver's seat while he's on the outside talking to me from the window.
"Suit , yourself. Thanks for the rides anyways and call me when you get home." I nod and he places a kiss on my cheek.
With that I put the keys in the engine, turn the car on and drive home.

Finally, this long day has ended.
