"You can just drop me at school. We'll go separate ways." He drove around and into the parking space. I grabbed my stuff.
"You don't put down your hair a lot, do you?" His finger tapped the steering wheel as he looked at me. I lowered my sunglasses. "That's a question. It's supposed to be my turn."
He just chuckles and I got out the car and walked back home. Who'll care if I miss the second day of school. Right?

I dreamt about the last moments with Liam and I. We were playing hide-and-seek where we laughed a lot and joked around.
That's when it happened.
The shooting. I couldn't do anything because of my stupid anxiety disorder. If only that didn't happen, I could've still saved Liam. I wonder how he is now, if he's still alive, or if he's with Mom and Dad up there.
I shook my head from the thoughts of it. He's still alive. I'm going to find you, Liam. I reached my house. I got my keys out and unlocked the door. I went up the stairs and into the kitchen.
You should smile more often. It's beautiful.
Jurian's words replayed through my mind.
You should smile more often. It's beautiful.
Damn it, Jurian. I shook my head from the thoughts of it. I looked at the vegetables in my hand and the pan. I'm going to order pizza instead.

I sat in bed and drew on my notebook. I thought back when Jurian says he likes to draw. I have so many questions to ask. Does Jurian like art? Does he even like to play instruments?
Wait, why do I care if he does or not?
I sighed as I put my pencil and notebook on my nightstand. I turned off the light and went to sleep.
It was the last day at the cabin. My parents were packing and Liam and I were playing hide-and-seek. We were in the woods and Liam counted behind the tree. I ran inside when my parents came out. But shootings roared.
"Breeze!" My mother cried out. I peeked outside and my mother was lying on the ground. My dad threw punches and kicks. "Sweetheart, run!"
I hesitated but listened. I came out and ran away from the cabin. Another shot roared and I looked back. My father fell back with a thud. Liam. Oh my god, Liam!
They carried him away. "Where's the girl?!"Liam squirmed and kicked. He looked back and I know our eyes met for a brief second.
"Breeze! Don't worry about me! Save yourself!!"
I didn't want to leave. I don't want to. My teary eyes were focused on him. My feet were stuck on the ground and the helpless me sobbed. One of the people saw me. There were at least five. All of their faces were covered in masks.
"There she is!" he pointed at me.
The one in the middle spoke. "Don't let her get away. Capture her this instant!" it was a woman's voice."NO!" I woke up and clutched onto my chest. I was losing my oxygen and couldn't breath. Tears streamed down my face. I reached for the pills on the night stand and popped two in my mouth then drank water. My breathing went back to normal after a couple of minutes. It' was only 4 AM. I grabbed my phone and began to text Amara.
