"That's my life story." I said. I told Jurian about my life and how's it like being a Half. Surprisingly, he listened to all of it. Including my rants.

Jurian's focus was down and I cocked my head. "Jurian?"

He snapped his head up. "Huh? Oh, um... Have ever met a boy named Matt when you were little?"

Matt? As soon as the name came out of his mouth, a white flash flashed in my head. I closed my eyes, it caused me a headache.

"What's wrong? Does your head hurt?" Jurian came over to touch my shoulder but I moved away.

"Sorry. I'm fine now. But no, I don't know anyone named Matt." I say. Who is Matt...?

The doorbell rang and Jurian sprang from the couch and raced down to the front door. I got up, too, and made my way to the top of the stairs.

A girl, with brown locks and brown eyes appeared. She had a duffle bag by her side. "You're lucky I'm your cousin." she said.

"Thanks," he said.

"It has your toothbrush, pants, shirt, towel, and who's up there?" she asks. "Come down,"

I curled my lip and climbed down the steps. I was beside Jurian and blinked at her. "Hi... I'm Breeze. Breeze Pierce." I greet.

Her jaw opened a but but she closed it. She shot Jurian a glare and Jurian lowered his eyes. "I see..."

Does she not like Halfs?

She extended her arm out. "Nice to meet you. I'm this idiot's" she nods at Jurian "cousin, Hailee Montgomery."

I shook her hand then we pulled apart. "Not bad," commented Hailee. "I can't believe my cousin is mates with a Half so beautiful like you."

"Thank you," I say.

"Okay. Can you go now Hailee?" asked Jurian.

"Also, I'm into girls." said Hailee. "Just a heads up if you don't want him..."

I laughed a bit.

"Okay, Hailee. Now go!" Jurian pushed Hailee back and she laughed out loud. He closed the door and leaned against it.

"I like your cousin." I say.

He snickered. "You also laughed. How cute,"

I curl my lip. "My goodness, Jurian."

He shrugged with a grin. Silence washed over us. I looked at Jurian's duffle bag.

"Oh, if you want to shower you can." I suggest. "It's the third door."

"Thanks," he said.

We climbed upstairs and he went inside the bathroom. I turned on the TV and went to the kitchen. I made a sandwich and when I sat down on the couch, the doorbell rang. Who could it be? I skipped downstairs and opened it. No one. I closed the door and locked it.

That's... Strange.

I ran upstairs and Jurian came out, ruffling his hair with a towel. He was fully clothed and I bit into my sandwich.

"You done?" I ask.

He grinned. "If not then why would I be out here?"

I rolled my eyes. I finished my sandwich and walked past him. "I'm going to shower now so help yourself in the kitchen."

I gathered my clothes and climbed into the shower. I turned on the faucet and the warm water dripped on my back.

Matt... Matt. The name sounds so familiar. I closed eyes and a face appeared. It wasn't Jurian's. It wasn't Kyran's. It wasn't anybody's face that I know. It was a younger face...

"Who are you?" It echoed. While the voice echoed, so did the face.

I slowly opened my eyes. A bullet of pain shot through me and I gasped. W-what? What was that? The pain didn't last long in my chest. It disappeared quickly.

"Who are you?" said the boy who was hovering over me.

"Help me..." My voice sounded so faint. I hear water falling and everywhere I looked was dark.

Swirls of black were appearing. "Are you okay?" asked the boy. His voice echoed. "I found you in here when I was looking for rocks. You're in a cave." He had green eyes and short brown hair.

Blood was all over me. Cuts and bruises were all over me. The boy move the hair from my face and swept it to the side.

"It's okay. First, tell me your name and then I'll go get help."

"My... My name is Breeze Pierce." I said. I was already losing my voice. The boy nodded his head and flashed a smile.

"Okay, Breeze. My name is Matt. I'll be getting help and..."

I woke up. I sat against the head of my bed, gasping and clutching into my bed sheets onto my chest.

"What was that?" I whispered. It was different. All I was reminded from Amara's family was that I ran away and they found me. But... But there's more? Was it just a dream? No, no. It felt too real.

"My name is Matt"

Matt! "Matt," I repeat. "Who are you?" Now I'm thinking if I should tell Jurian what I just dreamed of. But a question appeared before I moved my legs. Why did he ask me about Matt? He made the question sound like I should know who he is.

I stopped and sunk back into the covers. I won't tell Jurian. Not until I know who Matt is and if this dream is a memory.
