Kyran turned into a vampire and gave Dax three punches. Two in the face, and one hard punch to Dax's stomach that he fell onto the ground. I pushed myself to get up and Kyran came over and helped me.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah. Just tired..." was all I said.

"The school's security sucks." Kyran said. Anger was in his tone. He helped me get up and Dax, too, got up. We both glared at Dax who threw his head back an laughed.

"Fuck you," I said.

"There's the Breeze," commented Kyran and I ignored it.

"I will come back for you, Breeze." He disappeared and a wave of wind hit us. Kyran got in front of my and blocked it. When it stopped, Dax was gone. Kyran his fingers through his hair and sighed.

"I told you! You shouldn't have went." Kyran scold. My eyes drooped but I blinked a few times.

"I don't have energy to-"

"Forget it. It's okay, it's not your fault. Let's go home." He put his jacket over me. We both went out to the hallway and saw Jurian running this way.

"I'll wait over there." Kyran walked away when Jurian reached me.

"Breeze! Breeze. Breeze, I'm so sorry I wa-"

"Forget it, it doesn't matter." I interrupt, "It was my stupid fault anyways." I walked past him but he gently grabbed my arm and pull me close to him. I held my breath.

"Are you okay?" Jurian asks, softly.

"What do you mean?" I said. He pulled my sleeve down and my shoulder was shown.

He stared at it. "It's deep, and bleeding." I took a deepbreath. Tears prickled down. I blinked a few times and I bit my lip. He looks at me apologetically. "I'm sorry I'm late."

Silence hung over us. He opened his mouth but I spoke before he did. "I need to go." I stopped short to tell him this, "Do not tell anyone about this."

I got out of the bathroom and changed into my pajamas. I don't heal like other vampires do. My vampire abilities are weak while my wolf abilities are strong. Yes, my shoulder stung but I put a bandage on it.

I plopped on the bed and looked at the stars.

"Where are you, Liam?" I said a moment later. I rolled over on my stomach and grabbed my phone from the nightstand and rolled back onto my bed.

Me: hey

Amara: hey

Me: listen...

I told her all about what happened between Dax and I. I couldn't even call her or tell her face to face tomorrow. I was just scared.

She saw them but didn't reply. After five minutes, I turned it off. Someone rang the doorbell and I went down to see who it was.

"Heeeey!!" Amara appeared.

"A-Amara?" I said, surprised.

"That's my name." She came in and went upstairs to the living room.

"How about pizza night? You're addicted to pizza." She said, grinning.

I nod my head. She took off her shoes and we both climbed up the stairs and onto the couch.

"So, what's happening between you and Jurian? You still avoiding him?"

I sighed. "To be honest, I don't know. It seems so empty."

Amara gave me a sly smirk. "What?" I ask. She didn't answer and laughed a little. "What?" I repeat.

"You like him, do you?" She finally said. I feel like I've been hit by a shovel.

"What?! What are you talking about? I don't even like him. Just because I said it feels empty is because we had fun and-"

"You had fun?" She interrupts then burst into laughter. "Wow! Finally, Breeze is having some fun!" I rolled my eyes.

"Did you, perhaps... Smile?" She asks.

I sighed and whispered, "oh my goodness."

"Is Jurian involved?" She asks.

I grabbed a pillow and threw it at her. "Would you stop Jurian-ing my questions?" She laughs harder. Gosh.

I thought back when we were at Rizon's Align. The thought of Rizon's Align transitioned to when Jurian was late. Was he really late? Or did he not care? I frowned. Amara snapped her fingers in front of my face.

"Hello? Earth to Breeze. Wake up!" I snapped back to reality.

"Huh?" I said in confusion.

Amara got up and put on her jacket. "My mom called and I have to go back home."

"Oh, okay." I stood up and brushed myself. I grabbed a pizza and bit into it.

"Also, you and Jurian need to make up and get over it."

"I don't know how to do that. He'll just ignore me or something."

Amara point to herself. "Leave it to me."

I curl my lip. She walks away but when she reached the steps, she turned to me. "Don't worry about the Dax situation, Breeze. His body is just taken over."

Tears slid down her cheek. "I'll protect you, okay?"

I've never seen her cry. But seeing her made me sad and angry. Because of me, Dax and Amara are stuck in this situation.

"Well, good night!" She swiftly waved and hopped down the stairs.
