I stretched and yawned. I looked out the window and the scenery was a complete winter wonderland. The snow coated on the trees looked like icing. I wore a big, furry green olive jacket with blue denim jeans, boots, and black rimmed glasses that has no lenses. My hair was styled up in a bun with some loose long hair falling out. The bus stopped and my attention divert to the front.

"Okay, kids!" Coach Kopper's voice boomed.

Ms. Jakilo stood beside him. "We're only here for three days. Have a good time, don't get lost..."

While she was talking about safety, I turned to Taylor. "This is boring."

"Only the rules part." She added. "At least we'll be able to ski and stuff. Going down the mountain, hot tubs, food-"

"They have hot tubs?" I asked, my eyes wide.

She nods. "Oh, right. This is your first time here." She giggles.

"...and especially no drinking. If I catch you doing that there will be major consequences." said Coach Kopper. "Same with cigarettes, boys." He shot a glare at the guys in the front. "Curfew is eleven. Anyways, welcome to Snow Crest."

The lodge was exquisite. There's a big fireplace with a big chair by it and bearskin rugs spread out on the floor. A big chandelier hovered over me that was lit in candles smelling like apple spice and cinnamon. I looked around more and noticed there were a lot of little nooks.

Taylor and Amara were standing under the other chandelier. Dax and his human friend, Jessica Winters, entered. They formed a semi circle.

Taylor spoke "Well, we signed up for a quadruple room so-"

Jessica cuts in. "Correction: You signed us up."

Dax and Taylor rolled their eyes while Amara and Jessica giggle.

Taylor continued, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyways, my parents..."

I ignored their conversation and stride towards the fireplace. I slid off my jacket and put in on the head of the velvet chair. I pulled out my book from my duffel bag. The warmth of the fireplace made me pleased. I sat in the big velvet chair and brought my legs up to one arm and rested my head on the other. My eyes scanned the pages.

I've only read the book for a couple of minutes then heard Jessica calling my name. I stood up with my book and followed them.

Taylor opened the door to our room. Two big beds with brown blankets sat on opposite ends. There was two night stands standing on the side of the bed each. Taylor ran and plopped on the right one. Jessica followed her and Amara and I went to the other bed.

"Hey guys," whispered Taylor.

We all focused on her. She rummaged through her bag and pulled out a bottle of wine with a smirk. Jessica gasps and Amara bursts into laughter.

"Didn't they search every bag?" I ask.

"Jessica helped me." replied Taylor.

Amara walks over to them and grabs it. "Damn," she comments. "This is pretty good. Not bad."

I shook my head and sighed. While they were talking, I was lying on the bed with my eyes closed and thinking.

Kyran and his letter.

Jurian and his mission.

Me breaking off contact with them.

I like Kyran but I keep denying it. But every time I think about him, I picture him. His beautiful chestnut brown hair, his mesmerizing blue eyes, his freckles that crosses his nose bridge, his humor, his laugh, his smile, his tears. But right now, I just want to be in his arms, his lips on mine, his fingers running through my hair... And that's becoming a problem. I'm having a longing feeling for him. I yearn for him and it drives me crazy.

It was morning and I was dressed all cozy and warmly. I put on my winter coat and was walking towards the door.

"Are you going somewhere?" Jessica asks.

"Needing fresh air. I'll be back in a bit." I waved and took a trip outside.

It was chilly and windy. It was like walking into a winter wonderland when you see the trees coated with snow. I took out my phone and began taking pictures.

"First time here, right?"

The voice of a man I haven't heard in a while. I turned around and Jurian was standing there with his arms crossed, smirking at me.

"Uh... Yeah." I reply, the awkward tension rising.

I went back to taking pictures again - totally ignoring him. I hear his footsteps step into the snow and appearing beside me.

"Breeze," he whispers.

Just the way he says it makes me melt but I still kept my stance.

"Do you like me?" He asks.

"Never," I reply quickly.

He chuckles. "No, when we were close to each other."

I looked back at him. I like you and Kyran. I looked forward again.

"I'm asking this for the last time. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I turned to him and was about to scold but he speaks up. "First, before you talk! I want to make things clear. You don't have to give me an answer yet. Also, I'll be standing at the place, waiting for you answer."

I looked at him with a confusing expression.

"Be here and give me your answer at 8:30 PM."

Just like that he walks away.
