Breeze

Ugh. My body is so weak. I opened my eyes and realize I'm in an unfamaliar room.

Where am I?

I wonder for a second then the flashes all came back at once. I closed my eyes and groaned.

My anxiety... He knows now. What am I suppose to do now?

I heard the door open and I closed my eyes. I hear the person sit down and let out a sigh.

"Breeze, I know you're awake and listening." said Amara.

Busted. I sat up and looked down at my hands. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, Amara." I apologize.

"No, I'm sorry. I should've know right away. I almost killed you."

Tears formed in her eyes. I reached out and gave her a hug.

"Hey, don't think like that. It wasn't your fault. You just didn't know I have anxiety disorder." I said.

"You know, Jurian said the exact same thing." She said.

"Crap," I said. I let go and grabbed a fistfull of my hair. Amara laughs.

"Oh yeah," She said after laughing, "A fight almost broke out between Jurian and that hot guy, Kyran." I let go of my hair and looked at her.

"What? A fight almost happened?" I asked.

"Yeah, it was really intense."

Someone knocked on the door. "Breeze, are you awake?" Jurian is at the door!

I whispered to Amara, "Don't tell him I gained consciousness." She nodded and I laid back down. I fixed the blanket and I closed my eyes.

I hear the door open and Jurian's footsteps coming this way.

"She's still resting." said Amara. I couldn't see, so I guessed Jurian nod his head.

"Can I be alone with her?" He asks.

"Sure." replied Amara. But I heard a little tease in her voice. Seriously?

I hear her footsteps fade away and the door closing. Jurian sighs as he sat down. A moment of silence came.

"I know you're awake, Breeze."

What is up with people knowing that I'm awake?

I bit my lip and opened my eyes. I sat up, fixed the pillows and leaned on them. I didn't look at Jurian's face. I was too embarrassed.

"Why aren't you looking at me?" He questions.

I gulped then said, "I'm embarrassed."

"Embarrassed of what?"

"My anxiety disorder. It wasn't meant to show." I finally looked at him.

"This is the first time I've ever seen you with your hair down." He said.

I haven't realized that my hair was down and touched it. "O-Oh, I just realized." I ran my hand through my hair.

I realized that he brought a bag with him. "What's that?" I point out.

He raised the bag. "Chipotle."

"You bought that for me?"

"No, I bought it for the girl in front of me."

I let out a laugh. When I realized what I did, I covered my mouth.

"This is the first time I heard your laugh." He says, grinning at me.
