As the hot water hit my back, I thought of them. Kyran, who has been my bully before, remembers everything but I haven't confronted him... Yet. Jurian, who is my mate seems to be on a "mission" that involves me which I don't any of. Kyran may be adopted. Jurian's brother is still out there - along with my family.

I covered my face and faced towards the water. The water hitting on my head sounds like the waterfalls.

Matt... I wanted to say thank you for helping me... But you're not Matt right now.

I got out of the shower. I dried myself then changed into pajamas. I brushed my teeth and blow-dried my hair. I got out of the bathroom and walked into my room. I tossed my closet into the bin and my towel on the side of my bed.

I stopped. I heard soft footsteps. Slowly, I turned around. No one was there. I felt uneasy. I crept into bed but I heard soft footsteps again. I perked y head up but no one was there. I was feeling even more uneasy. So I closed my eyes.

I can hear the steps coming. Step, step, step... It stopped. I waited and kept my eyes closed. I jumped out of my bed and grabbed that person's arm. I threw it to my wall and I think it cracked a little.

To my surprise, it's the Witch. Seeing her made me angry, not scared. I clenched my fist.

Let's try to see if I can activate my Half.

I glared at her as she gets to her feet.

Activate Half.

It happened. My body became half Vampire and Wolf.

Whoa!

"I see you're getting used to your power, huh?" The Witch chuckles. "Now do you see why I need your power?"

"Shut up." I snapped. "You're only wanting my power for you stupid experiment."

He has Liam why didn't she use h-...

Slowly, I speak, "You don't have my family, don't you?"

She smirks and it made me half relieved but I was still ferocious. I sped at her and grabbed her collar.

"Where are they?" I growl. "Where?!"

She held up her hands beside her head and laughed. "I don't know, sweets. When I put them in a cell, I left for a few minutes. But when I came back, they were already gone. Seems like your brother, Liam's, power is strong." She continued. "But, seems like I couldn't find where they are. They must've changed identities. I only found you." She stroked my cheek. "My power to my experiment."

I released her then backed away. "My power is not yours so fuck off, Witch."

"Ah, I need to tell you about the mission and Jurian." She changed the subject.

"No, I don't need to hear any of what you want to say."

She chuckled the her eyes went green for a second. "Yes you do. I can see it. It's your desire... Just like how you want to be a Pure wolf."

How-?!

"Jurian's mission is you. I was able to persuade the Alpha to kill you because you were a Half. So he was sent out on a mission to you."

I shook my head. "No,"

"He was suppose to seduce you and make you his girlfriend... Then turn you in so you can be beheaded."

My heart dropped and I felt like I can heart it shatter.

Don't believe it, Breeze! She's just playing games with you.

"He bumped into you on purpose."

Our first meeting.

"He went to your house on purpose."

When he came at four in the morning.

"He knew something about your family which I need to find out."

That hit me. I punched the Witch but she dodged. Her laughed echoed in my ears.

"I don't believe you." I say, my voice stern.

She snickers. "Why don't you ask him? He was suppose to make you his girlfriend then his mission will be done."

"No!" I screamed.

I collapsed on the bed clutching onto my chest. At the corner of my eye, I saw her holding a knife.

"I would've killed you by now," she tells the knife. "But I want to have a bit more fun with you. Do you mind?"

"Fuck off!" I spat.

She smiled. "I'll take that as a yes."

She walked to my window and opened it. Before climbing out, she turns to me and said, "Don't forget me, sweets. My name is Esther if you're wondering." She then disappeared into the dark night.

At the time, I would've grabbed my phone and fumbled to dial 911 but I didn't. I sat on my bed... Clutching into my chest... Believing what Esther had said.

I hesitated but I stood up. I put on my shoes once I reached the front door and walked outside. The cold air made me shiver. I walked on the sidewalk. I wanted answers. Always.
