"You know, when you're going to kidnap someone, make sure that it's at night because people can't see you." I said after fifteen minutes.

He chuckled. "You don't smile a lot, do you?" Jurian asked.

I looked at him and furrowed my eyebrow. "What is this? 21 questions?"

"Hmm... Should it?"

"Ask me then." I smiled a fake smile at him then changed my facial expression.

"Well, when's your birthday?" He began.

"March 25," I answered. "What's your full name?"

"My full name is Jurian Kilan Stone.

He continues, "Do you have siblings?"

"Yes, had."

Jurian looked at me for several seconds then looked back at the road. "I'm sorry. I think I to-"

"Don't," I interrupt. "It's okay. I'm over it." Lies.

"I guess we'll play the rest of our game tomorrow." He pulled up to a house. It was a huge mansion. It's two stories tall and hedges surrounded the acres of the yard. The iron gate was huge and topped with spikes.

"It's my turn and second question tomorrow." I reminded him.

"Be right back. I just need to grab something." He got out and jogged towards his mansion. Must be nice... to be a Pure.

Five minutes passed and my eye lids were drooping but I try to keep them open. I have to stay awake, I can't let him know my nightmares. My eyes closed and I fell asleep.

: : : : : :

I nod and stretched my arms. I looked around us. The place where we are has a lot of trees, sun, and a hiking trail.

"Where are we?" I ask, still looking around.

"I'll show you once we get there." He said as he got out of the car. I stretched again. I stopped.

Wait, did I take a nap? Oh no... I hope he didn't notice.

I put my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my bag from the back. I dug in it and grabbed some sunglasses and put it on. I got out of the car and stretched some more. I looked to my right and Jurian wore his shades and is leaning against his car. I walked over to him.

"Are you going to take me to 'I'll-show-you-once-we-get-there' now?" I say, flatly.

He laughed and said, "If you're willingly to. Follow me."

He head towards a trail and I walked beside him. "Get behind me." He said.

"I didn't realize we were playing follow the leader." I got behind him.

He turned around and looked at me in the eye. "So, you do have a sense of humor." His face was so close that I can feel his mint breath on my lips.

"Your face is a sense of humor. Go walk, leader. I'm right behind you." He chuckles and continues to hike. "So," I began. "Did something happen when I was sleeping? Like snoring, or anything like that?"

"Nope," he replies.

I let out a breath of relief. It took several minutes and plenty of hiking but we made it.

I ran up ahead of Jurian and reached the edge of a cliff. The view is just amazing. I can see the sun and the faint moon in the sky. Somehow, it made me smile.

"So, that's your smile?" Jurian crept up behind me

I changed back to my usual facial expression and turned to him. "What smile? I didn't smile." I lied.

He chuckles and I turn back to the horizon. The pink orange sunset, swaying trees, and the mountain at the other side makes the view even more interesting. My lips curve into a smile.

"This place is called Rizon's Align." He says. "A long time ago, there was a man named Rizon and a woman named Align. They both loved each other, but Rizon killed Align."

I gasped. "If they loved each other why did he kill her?!"

"Well, Rizon didn't really kill her. Rizon broke the rules. If a royal falls for a peasant, the peasant is hung. And so, Rizon's mom made him kill Align. But, he didn't. He was assassinated."

"After his funeral, Align was found dead and buried by his grave." He paused for a bit. "Some say she was murdered, she did it herself, or that Rizon's ghost killed her." He looks at me. "The sun dies to let the moon shine. But at exactly 4:55 AM, the sun and moon aligns in the middle."

"That's..." I let it trail. "I don't know what to say to be honest. But that's so... Tragic."

He chuckles. "You should smile more often, it's beautiful."

I turned around but only to see Jurian's chest. I looked up and saw his face. His shades were off and his eyes make him look innocent, along with his green eyes. His chiseled jawline is beautiful and his hair is chestnut brown but with platinum tips. His lips were curved and looks smooth.

I can't. Breeze, you need to stop.

He moved his head and I flinched down. "Well," I said, "I don't smile very often." I turned around and sat at the edge. "How did you know this place?" I ask.

Jurian sat down with his head hung low and smiled. "When I was little, my brother made me promise to take him here once we get older. But, this is my first time here."

I'm the first girl to be taken here? I dangle my legs. "Where is he?"

There was moment of quietness. "He disappeared." replied Jurian.

I stopped. I turn my face toward to Jurian. He lifted his head up and looked at me. He smiled and said, "Don't give me that look. I'm fine, really." He got up and brushed off his jeans. "Let's go back." He walks away.

You're not. I got up and ran to catch up with him.

I may have smiled today, but he wasn't the first person.
