Tom's POV

"Bah, bah!" Tommy babbled as he crawled around the living room floor.

I smiled at my son as he giggled at me; Today was his first birthday and we were throwing him a little birthday party. The twins were very excited of course, they had lots of fun helping Tommy open his presents although only my son could find the boxes more entertaining!

"DAD!" Harlee shouted as he ran through the house.

I chuckled. "Yes?" I asked.

"MOM'S BACK!" He cheered.

I watched as Harlee slid through the living room in his socks and to the front door. I heard the door open and bags hit the floor, I scooped Tommy up and carried him to the front door. I looked at my wife and smiled; Even when she was flustered she was the most beautiful women in the world. The front door was now blocked with party banner, balloons, food and Tommy's cake!

"I've got everything!" Jess told me with a big smile. "Everything is Mickey Mouse themed!"

I smiled and kissed Jess on the lips softly. "You're amazing," I told her as I grabbed a few bags and took them into the kitchen.

"Where's Holly?" She asked as she followed.

"She's doing something secret in her room," I told her.

Jess frowned. "Good lord it could be anything!" She stated.

I chuckled and started setting up the food. We both started making up sandwiches and laying snacks onto plates and placing them on the island in the kitchen.

"MOM, DAD, COME HERE!" Harlee shouted.

Jess and I dashed into the living room with our hearts in out throats; Harlee never shouts like that.
We both stop just inside the living room and see the most adorable thing in the world... I took Jess' hand and gave it a loving squeeze.

"Our baby is walking," I whispered to my wife and kissed her temple.

Tommy was walking towards his big brother on wobbly legs and big smile on his face. Harlee was knelt on the ground with his arms out and Holly was holding my phone capturing it all. Tommy fell into his big brothers arms and was in fits of laughter!
It really is something watching your child walk for the first time and having your other children encourage their younger siblings to be great.

"I love you little brother," Harlee told his brother and kissed his head.

I couldn't help but chuckle... And to think Harlee didn't want a baby brother!

After another hour of setting everything up, Tommy had a little nap then everyone started to arrive; Mine and Jess' families were here first then our closest friends came. This was the only gathering I was going to be apart of for a while, I was going to America to film 'I saw the light'. Obviously I was going to see Jess and the children but it would be a long wait between visits due to the twins being at school.

"Here you go baby," Jess said to Tommy as she placed another present in front of him.

Tommy squealed and ripped at the paper; Only our child could find the paper more interesting than anything else. When the floor was covered in paper Tommy and the twins were rolling around in the paper, the one year old and the two seven year olds!

"Oh Tom make sure they never fall out!" My mum told me.

I smiled and watched my children play together; I pray to god nothing happens to my children, that all of them get along and love each other. Jess slid over to me and kissed the corner of my mouth making me smile at her, I brushed my nose against her.

"I love you," I told her.

Jess laughed lightly. "I love you too," She told me.

Just then Jess' Dad brought out Tommy's cake and everyone sang happy birthday, with the help of his big brother and sister Tommy blew out his candles.

Jess and I kissed our sons cheeks. "Happy birthday baby!" Jess told him. "Don't grow up too fast!"

Oh god please don't!

Stay little forever!
