******Flashback starts...

***2 years ago somewhere in Geneva, Switzerland***

Mino plays with the teaspoon while waiting for Jungkook to come back from the toilet. He thinks back whether he is making the right decision meeting him there.

"Sorry, I took kinda long time.", Jungkook said as he sits back at the chair. "So, how are you going to help me with this problem?", he adds. Mino nods and puts down the teaspoon before speaking up.

"I can help but not now. Right now, what you can do is to find your true love. Only after that I can help you out with your problem.", Mino said, explaining how he can help Jungkook with his problem.

Listening to what Mino said, Jungkook asked if he is being serious that that is the only way to make him become human again and Mino nods. "That's the only way. But...I can't guarantee it even though I'm capable to do the ritual.", Mino said.

"You might end up dead or the ritual could go wrong. I can't tell much. For sure, if you really want to turn to human again, first thing you've to do is find your true love.", he adds.

Jungkook opens his eyes wide after remembering the meeting with Mino, the wizard two years ago. Then, the face of Chaeyoung flashes in his mind at the same time. "Is she...the person?", he asked himself while looking at the mirror in front of him.

After a moment, he shakes his head. "No, I must be crazy. Yeah, I'm crazy about her. Oh no...", Jungkook shakes his head again before opening the water tap to wash his face.

Chaeyoung goes downstairs to eat ramen as she feels hungry all of a sudden at that midnight time. She does not expect her stepmother or stepsister to still be awake so she just acts like usual.

When she is ready to eat, her stepsister, Jeon Jiwoo storms in to the kitchen and sits in front of her with an expressionless face. Chaeyoung asks her why she is still up at that hour but she shakes her head saying that Chaeyoung should not speaks up.

"I have a question for you.", Jiwoo said while pointing her finger at Chaeyoung's face. "Who were you with when you walked home?", she asked. The question makes Chaeyoung stops eating for a while.

She asked Jiwoo why did she care and tried to be cool. "Of course I am! I heard it's a guy. Who is he?", Jiwoo asked more enthusiastically. At this point, Chaeyoung knows that Jiwoo is just wanting to know who her guy friend so that she can seize him like she did before with all Chaeyoung's school friends.

"It's none of your business.", Chaeyoung simply replied. Jiwoo makes a wry face before asking her again nicely, still controlling her emotion not to get mad at her. But Chaeyoung sticking up to not giving an answer to her by ignoring her.

When Jiwoo realises that she is being ignored, she yells at Chaeyoung. "Yah! You better tell me or mum will be mad if she knows you are going out with some stranger.", she warns Chaeyoung but she does not give a damn about it. She has had a lot of warnings from her but she still can be patient with Jiwoo.

"He's not a stranger to me. You don't have to worry. He's a good guy.", Chaeyoung said, ending the conversation by going to the living room with a bowl of ramen in her hand. However, Jiwoo is still not satisfied and she followed Chaeyoung to the living room.

She asked Chaeyoung the name of the guy but Chaeyoung ignored her again by watching the TV quietly. Giving up on her attempt, Jiwoo left her there after dissing her of being rude. Chaeyoung glanced over the stairs to see if Jiwoo is already gone.

"I won't let her do the same thing again to me. Not anymore.", Chaeyoung said before putting down the bowl on the table.

That morning, Chaeyoung gets ready to go to work at the Cháchos Café at 7 a.m. and walks off after feeding the cat that always come to the house every morning. It has been her routine every Monday-Friday to feed the cat in the morning, walking to the café for work and going back home by walking before 8 p.m. .

If she is late, her stepmother, Jeon Jooyeon will punish her to sleep outside of the house or not given an allowance for a week. She has been keeping a good record for four months without punishment even Jiwoo always tried to make her being punished.

"Omma, do you want to know something?", Jiwoo said while sitting at the wooden chair on the porch. Jooyeon asked her what is it and Jiwoo said that there is a hot news about Chaeyoung that she should know.

"What is it? I'm busy here. Tell me later.", Jooyeon said while watering the flowers at the porch. "This can't wait. Jinseok told me Chaeyoung came home walking with a guy accompanied her yesterday.", Jiwoo said in an instance.

Jooyeon suddenly stopped what she is doing and turned around to look at Jiwoo. Her face showed an unbelievable reaction and Jiwoo nodded several times to convince Jooyeon of what she just told. "Who's the guy?", Jooyeon asked.

"That's the problem. She wouldn't tell me. Omma, you better ask her before she does something behind your back with the guy.", Jiwoo said, trying to gain Jooyeon's attention to the matter.
