Epilogue

***A month later...***

After the launching ceremony of Chaeyoung's boutique branch in Seoul, Jungkook took Chaeyoung and Junghan to visit her step family. Junghan was so happy to see his grandmother and his cousin, Kim Jihyun. The whole family gathered together that night having a dinner at Jisoo's restaurant.

Then, they went to a theme park for the night before going home. There was one time where Chaeyoung was smiling for quite a while when they were there making Jungkook questioning it to her. "Nothing, I just like what I see now. Omma and Jiwoo unnie...they really have changed.", she said as she looked at Jiwoo and her husband, Kim Taehyung (J.Seph of KARD 😅) blowing the soap bubbles while Jihyun and Junghan burst them.

"Oh, I thought you remembered someone else.", Jungkook said making her frowned at him before she understood what he meant. "What? You thought...oh come on, even if Taehyung oppa's name is the same as his, I don't think of him. That will be weird, very weird.", she quickly told him. Jungkook laughed at her response before walking to Junghan leaving her speechless on his thought of her.

"I heard Chaeyoung's in this country now.", Taehyung said to Chanyeol who was putting the bottle of blood in front of him. Chanyeol froze when he heard it but he tried to stay relaxed with Sooyoung beside him. "Come on, I heard your conversation while you're walking in here. So...is it true?", he asked.

Chanyeol stared at Sooyoung since she slipped out of her mouth when talking about the Jeon family earlier. "I thought you didn't want to know about her anymore. You haven't talked for months about her.", Chanyeol said to him without answering his question.

Then, Taehyung suddenly smirked at them before nodding. "Yes but when I heard your conversation, I feel like I miss her. She's doing good, right? What's she doing here? Surely not for me, isn't it?", he asked as he opened the bottle cap. "Of course not. Stop dreaming, Taehyung.", Sooyoung quickly answered.

Taehyung laughed at it while pouring down the blood into the steel cup. "Drink with me? It's been so long since I drink with anyone.", he said as he raised the cup to the siblings who stood in front of him. "We're sorry, Taehyung but we have other things to do. We'll make a move first. See you next week.", Chanyeol easily rejected his offer and pulled Sooyoung's hand to leave that place.

After Chaeyoung got out of the bathroom, she saw Jungkook was still busy with his laptop on the bed. She got on the bed and leaned closer to him to see what he was still doing that late night. "Do you really have to check your email now? It's late, Kookie.", she said in half whispering voice.

"It's late here but not in Paris.", he simply answered to her before he felt like someone was staring at him. When he slowly looked at Chaeyoung's face, he quickly closed his laptop and put it to the desk beside the bed. "Sorry, but it was Namjoon hyung. He said he already found a good interior designer to renovate my music academy.", he explained as he took the blanket.

"Okay, let's sleep now.", she said as she did not want to scold him further. "Yup, you're right.", he replied as he covered her first with the blanket. When he was doing it, the door of their room was knocked loudly making them startled. "Omma, omma!!", Junghan's voice was heard so the both of them quickly went to the door before Junghan wake any of her step family.

Jungkook quickly carried him up and asked why he was screaming and crying while Chaeyoung patted the boy's back softly. "I had a nightmare...", Junghan said as Jungkook sat on the bed with him sitting on Jungkook's lap. Chaeyoung asked what nightmare he had and he slowly told them about it.

"It was a good dream...I dream about me playing with my little sister...but then...a vampire came and took omma and sister away...", he said while in tears as he turned to hug Chaeyoung. Jungkook's eyes widened when Junghan said that one word but he tried to stay calm. Chaeyoung at the same time stared at him guessing that he was the reason why Junghan had that kind of dream.

"Junghan-ah, how did you know it's a vampire?", Chaeyoung asked as she looked at Junghan who slowly looked at Jungkook. It seemed like the two of them had made a promise not to let her know about it. "Appa...told me when he told me a bedtime story.", Junghan said as Chaeyoung kept staring sharply at Jungkook.

He quickly hugged Junghan back and tried to console him, trying to ignore the anger of Chaeyoung on him. After half an hour, Junghan finally fell asleep at the middle of the bed with Jungkook and Chaeyoung lying on both sides of him. "He's asleep.", Jungkook said to Chaeyoung but he heard no reply from her.

When he looked at her face, he waved his hand in front of it since her eyes were still opened. She saw it and came to be aware that she was lost in her own thought. "Why, darling? You look lost.", Jungkook said in whisper as he did not want Junghan to wake. "Nothing. Just...Junghan's nightmare...sounds like it will...", Jungkook quickly covered her mouth before she finished.

He shook his head and said ,"No, Chaeyoung. It will not happen. Taehyung's in the prison, remember?"

"But...our baby is a girl. Junghan...", once again he covered it. "It's just a nightmare. Don't think too much about it, okay?", he told her and she slowly nodded as he moved his hand away from her mouth. "I'm sorry.", suddenly Jungkook said as he looked at her. She asked for what and he said it was his fault for telling Junghan a bedtime story with a vampire in it.

"Okay but promise me you won't tell him a story like that anymore.", Chaeyoung said as she put out her pinky to him. He smilingly intertwined it with his pinky finger and said ,"I promise you, my love." Before Chaeyoung could take her hand away, he grabbed it back and kissed the back of it briefly. "Yah, not in front of our kids!", Chaeyoung said like shouting but in a low voice.

"He's sleeping and the baby is still in there. She didn't see.", Jungkook responded casually as he touched Chaeyoung's five months growing belly. His reply made Chaeyoung's face turned red as she cannot believe how sneaky her husband is.
