Searching for Her

Irene opened the door that was knocked like crazy and saw Jungkook out there. "Irene-shi, do you know where Chaeyoung is?", he asked as he saw her. "Good morning, Jungkook-shi.", Irene replied with a yawn. She surely felt disturbed at that time considering that it was almost 4 in the morning.

"Uh, I'm sorry I disturbed your sleep. But I really need to find Chaeyoung. She's gone from our house, Irene.", Jungkook said worriedly. Irene nodded to it and then, she looked at Jungkook sharply. "She said she'll be leaving your house. Since when it became 'our', Jungkook?", she asked him back.

"I know... I treated her like she's not exist this whole week. Please, Irene. If you know where she went to...", he tried asking again as he admitted his fault. "I don't know but...she did told me to make you can't summon her. So I did it and that's it. I don't know where she went to.", Irene answered him.

Jungkook turned around and kicked a stone on the ground angrily. He was angry with himself for what is happening. He cannot think where she is at the moment, he cannot call her who left her phone at home and he cannot summon her back to him.

"Jungkook.", Irene called him making him turned back to face her. "She told me she's not going anywhere too far and if you're really looking for her, you'll find her.", Irene told him making him thinking. "Okay, that...is... enough for me, I guess. Thank you, Irene. I'm sorry again for waking you up.", he said before taking a leave from Irene's house.

Jungkook went to Chaeyoung's old house where her step family still living at and tried to see her. However, there was no sign of her at all that morning. He only saw three people who are her stepmother and step sister there with an unknown guy who he has been seeing after Chaeyoung left them.

Yes, Jungkook visited sometimes to see how her step family was doing after she was gone. He also left some groceries he bought at the front door just to show he cares about them even though he made her left them in a sudden on her wedding day.

"You're not here. Where are you actually, Chae?", he said slowly as he eyed the three people from afar. "If she's not here but...she didn't go anywhere too far...then, it would be...", Jungkook thought of where else she might have gone to and remembered a place.

There was no sense of Chaeyoung at all but Jungkook was sure she must be there somewhere. He went to the graveyard of her mother in her hometown. He paid a visit to her mother and was sure she was there because the flowers left at the grave was still looking new and fresh.

After the visit, Jungkook went to look for Jisoo's mother's restaurant that located at the roadside. However, he did not see it there anymore and found out that the restaurant has been demolished from there. He went to other places around the small town to find her while asking if anyone knows about the restaurant he looked for.

"Jin oppa, can I take Jisoo unnie out today?", Chaeyoung asked him who just arrived at the restaurant. "Sure but... don't make her walk so much, okay?", Seokjin said to Chaeyoung reminding her that Jisoo is pregnant. "Yah, I'm still good to walk a lot. The baby's only a month old, Jinnie-yah.", Jisoo retorted.

Chaeyoung laughed at the couple who got married five months ago. They looked so cute together that it made her somehow thought of Jungkook for a while. When her mind wandered off, Jisoo and Seokjin realized it and asked if she was alright since she did not hear them call her name.

"I'm okay. So, are you guys done bickering? If yes, let's go, unnie.", she said as she took her car key with a little smile. "Bickering? When did we bicker?", Seokjin asked in confusion but Jisoo just laughed at his baffled face.

Jungkook arrived at the restaurant he was told by an elderly he met earlier. He looked around and got Chaeyoung's sense which felt so strong from there. But he cannot find her anywhere at the tables there. He cannot even find Jisoo too.

"Oh, hello. Is there anything I can help you with, brother?", Jungkook heard someone's voice coming from behind him. "Uh... I actually...am looking for someone. Is this Jisoo's restaurant? I mean...is she the owner of this restaurant?", Jungkook asked back to the guy.

"Oh, yeah. She is. Actually it's our restaurant. I'm her husband, Kim Seokjin. Are you looking for her?", he replied as he introduced himself as well. They shook hands and Jungkook shook his head to Seokjin's question. "I'm looking for her best friend actually.", Jungkook said.

"Park Chaeyoung is it?", Seokjin asked right after that making Jungkook's eyes widened. "Yes, is she here?", he asked as he tried to look around again. When Seokjin said no, Jungkook's face looked sad to hear it. "But she's in the town with Jisoo. They went out just an hour ago.", the words Seokjin added made Jungkook excited back.

"She's here? Oh, thank god. Um...is it okay if I wait for her here? She'll be coming back here later, right?", Jungkook asked excitedly. Seokjin nodded and asked if he wants him to inform her but he said no need. He thanked Seokjin before telling him his name since he forgot to introduce himself earlier.
