Good Time's Over

Jungkook was looking for Chaeyoung when he suddenly hears some people mouthing about her. When he was about to ask the lady that talked about Chaeyoung, Irene called out his name looking worried. "It's Chaeyoung, Jungkook.", she said and Jungkook was about to ask her something before he saw Chaeyoung walking towards them.

But then, he saw someone else also walking towards them behind Chaeyoung. Someone that he cannot let Chaeyoung meet. But now, it seemed like he was too late. He walked to Chaeyoung ignoring Irene who was calling his name.

When he got close to her, he saw something red on her lips which made his heart boiled up as he saw it. "Jungkook, what had you done to me?", Chaeyoung asked when he touched her hand. Her eyes are teary showing that she knew it already. And she knew it not from him but Taehyung.

"Chaeyoung, before you scold me listen to me first.", he said as he tries to pull her a bit away from the crowd. "No, Jungkook. Answer my question. Please tell me you didn't turn me into something inhuman. Tell me you didn't feed me blood of living person. Tell me you didn't wiped out my memory. Tell me it was all lies, Jungkook.", Chaeyoung said in between tears.

"Chaeyoung...", he was about to say something before Irene shouted at him that Taehyung was just behind him. He quickly turned around and then, sees Taehyung speedily ran into the crowd of people. He looked back at Irene and saw that she was having a bit trouble of catching Taehyung.

He got confused of either to help Irene out or to explain everything to Chaeyoung at the moment. Seconds later, Taehyung appeared in front of him while watching the reaction of the crowd. They looked horrified as if they just found out a bad news and Jungkook knew it would be Taehyung's fault.

"I've told them what kind of wedding they attended. Screw you.", Taehyung said before he pointed at Irene. "Oh, and you. Don't bother to catch me. Your spell isn't working, miss.", he said with a smirk before fleeing off from there.

Jungkook's fangs appeared as he wanted to chase Taehyung but Irene stopped him. "Don't. You should make these people here forget this thing first, Jungkook.", she told him as she showed him how the people have started to look at him and Chaeyoung in fear and shock.

"But...", he turned to look at Chaeyoung who has been crying quietly probably disappointed with him. "He didn't lie, did he?", Chaeyoung asked in which Jungkook could not answer. At the same time, Irene has started to put a spell on the people not to leave the place before their minds are manipulated by Jungkook.

"Forgive me, Chae.", he said to her as he walked to a person to manipulate his mind. When he was walking away from her with tears forming in his eyes, she suddenly screamed at him. "Don't try to find me after this, Jungkook!", it made him stopped for a while and looked at her as she ran away from there.

He wanted to go after her but he could not just go and leave the place. Not until everyone there forget about what had happened. So, he told himself to focus and let go of Chaeyoung for the moment.

After the last person left the wedding venue, Jungkook stared down to the ground under the big oak tree with tears finally dropping on his cheeks. He leaned his head on the tree and punched the tree bark several times in anger. He is angry with himself.

"Jungkook.", he stopped punching when he heard Irene calling his name out. "I'm sorry. This will not happen if I stick with her just now.", Irene said as she stood next to him. He keeps quiet as he does not know if she should be blamed since he was the one asked for her help.

"I didn't know that Taehyung knew what I was doing. Maybe he has been watching us all these time.", Irene still has something to say but Jungkook halted her. "He's getting stronger. I couldn't sense him. It's not your fault, Irene. You did what you can do.", he took the blame himself.

Then, he asked Irene how Chaeyoung could go and meet Taehyung without being followed by anyone. He knew Irene was watching the both of them before they got separated when Chaeyoung met her family. But, Irene lost them after that as she was talking with some people there.

When Irene said that Jiwoo was the one telling Chaeyoung to see Taehyung, he frowned after hearing the name. "But you can't blame her though. Taehyung had her mind manipulated. She just did what he told her to do.", Irene added.

Jungkook nodded weakly knowing that Taehyung surely capable of manipulating people just like him. He could only formed a fist as he thought of Taehyung. He could not believe that Taehyung have a grudge on him just because he interrupted him that night.

Irene looked at how frail Jungkook is now so she tried to lift his spirit up, "Let's go find your Chaeyoung now, okay?" Jungkook smiled a bit before shaking his head. "I'll find her by myself. I can sense her.", he told but Irene still insisted since she felt guilty of what happened.

"No, Irene. You've done enough. Thank you for being here and helped me. I'll find Chaeyoung by myself. She will not go too far yet.", Jungkook said as he looked around the park. He also looked at the way that Chaeyoung went which was into the forest. But, he did not know how far she has ran to so he needs to catch up with her now.
