The Last Fight

* A little bit of a gruesome scenes here, just reminding you guys before you read. *

Jungkook grabbed the knife left by Irene in his left hand as he stood up. At the same time, the scary looking daddy tiger was just watching him as if it waits for him to start the fight. After he steadily stood by the pole, he gave a sharp look on the tiger in front of him. It was only a feet away from him and if it attacks him with a single jump, the fight will end quickly for him.

He did not want that to happen, he thought at the moment. Just when he was thinking of a way to fight with the animal, his fangs appeared on reflex because of the animal blood on his face. It made the tiger in front of him charged onto him but luckily his strength is still there so he managed to avoid the attack by moving to the right.

Realizing that he still has some strength and his vampire abilities, he quickly got on the back of the big tiger to slash its throat. He did it but the tiger was squirming to free itself making Jungkook fell to the hard ground and the knife dropped from his hand. At that time, the tiger got above him and its bleeding neck made him struggled to hold his thirst for blood.

He tried slowly to move away from it and stood up while touching the pole trying to hold his natural instinct. "Hold it, Jeon Jungkook. Hold it in!", he said to himself while his back is facing the tiger. He did not realize what the tiger was doing behind him because he was sure it was still in pain itself.

"Jungkook, careful!!", Chaeyoung's scream of his name made him aware that the fight is not over yet. With his superhuman speed, he avoided it by moving to the side before getting on the back of it again. This time, he made sure it feels more pain as he surrounded its neck with the chains on his hands. Then, he pulled it as hard as he could making the tiger groaned in pain loudly.

He did not let go until the tiger stopped making a sound. When it stopped, Jungkook felt the animal's body slowly fell to the ground. So, he slowly walked to see its head and saw the lifeless tiger as he took the knife he dropped earlier. He was about to go to Irene to give her the knife back but then, he heard a slow groaning sound from the tiger again.

Without waiting any longer, he threw the knife straight to its head eventually killing it. He looked at it sharply while forming his angry fist. "Still alive? I'll kill you for sure!", he said before he felt a pat on his shoulder. "It's dead, Jungkook.", Irene said as she looked at the fallen tiger before it disappeared from their sights.

"He did it! Right, oppa?", Chaeyoung asked as she still looked at Jungkook and Irene at the middle of the deadly land. However, she did not hear Mino's answer so she asked him again. She did not realized that Mino has loosened his grip on her hand at that time. She did not know what will happen next before she saw Jungkook looked at her with a worried face.

Before she could utter a word, she felt a little pain on her hand which made her looked at her hand that was held by Mino. When she looked at it, she saw a pocket knife on Mino's hand that made her frowned at him. "Mino oppa, what are you doing to me?", she asked in confusion. "This is Jungkook's last test. The last stage of the ritual.", Mino gave her the answer.

"That cut is just a small cut and I'm sure it's not very painful to you. I did it to make Jungkook got triggered by your blood. It's his last test of proving that he really wants to go back being a human. I want to advice you, Chae. Don't go near him...no matter what happens to him, don't give yourself to him. Not until the ritual is over.", he explained to her little by little.

Chaeyoung gave a nod of understanding even though she was still confused. "I can't be close to you now. If I do, I'll just disturb this ritual. So I ask of you, Chaeyoung. Be careful and never let your emotion get over you. Just until this all over.", he reminded her as he stepped back from her.

A sound of thunder suddenly heard and the weather turned to cloudy in only a matter of seconds. Chaeyoung was weird of the sudden change of the weather but she knew it has something to do with the ritual. So, she stood still and looked at Jungkook who is also looking at her. She did not know what to do until Irene came to her giving a knife in her hand.

"In case he attacks you, you have the right to do the same.", Irene said. Chaeyoung did not let go of her hand and asked her what happens if he drinks her blood. "He will fail and if you want to know how to make him succeed, tell him to hold himself until the ritual is over.", that is all Irene could say before she walked back to her place near Jungkook.

When she got there, she saw Jungkook has already got triggered by Chaeyoung's blood. His fangs grew longer and sharper as he turned to look away from Chaeyoung. He cannot let her see him getting wild or she will surely be crying at his crazy state.

"Jungkook, stay strong please. For me, for yourself, for us.", Jungkook heard Chaeyoung's voice in his mind telling him to fight with his inner self. Fight with his own natural instinct. Fight with his vampire side that have been with him for hundreds of years. Fight with something that is too powerful for him to control.

A minute turned to an hour until Chaeyoung's blood stopped flowing out from the cut Mino did on her right palm. Jungkook was still in chains but he struggled with himself to get near to Chaeyoung. He screamed in anger while trying to pull out the pole from the ground. When he gave up, he kicked the pole and got angry with himself.

He needed blood. To be precise, he needed HER BLOOD. But, he knew too well it will only ruin everything for him. He felt so helpless and only thought of one thing at that moment. He looked at the knife in Chaeyoung's hand and shouted to her to throw it to him. Chaeyoung shook her head and asked why he needed it since she did not see anything bizarre with it.

"Just throw it to me or you'll regret it, Chae!", his voice was harsh as he said it. It intimidated her but she bravely walked close to him while he stepped back from her. "No, Chaeyoung. Stay away from me. I said to throw the knife not coming here!", he said as he turned around. Then, he heard the sound of the knife being put on the ground behind him.

"If you're going to do anything, let me know. If not, I'll stay close to see what you're going to do.", she said as she took a step back a little from him. He slowly turned around and took the knife. He checked it and found out that the part of the handle is made of oak wood. So, he used his last strength to break the knife into two parts as Chaeyoung looked at him awkwardly.

Then, he used the blade part of the knife to make the end of the handle sharp like a stake. At that time, Chaeyoung realized what he was going to do and she tried to take the wooden stake away from him. However, he shocked her with his fangs and death glare before pushing her away from him. With that being done, he said sorry before he spiked his heart with the oak wood stake which kills vampire instantly.
