Too Good to be True

Chaeyoung sees Jungkook's car coming on her way but she is in her sulking mood so she turned around from it. Jungkook slowed down his car and looked at Chaeyoung who is pouting with him. He honked his car at her but she ignored him.

"Chaeyoung, don't tell me you're sulking with me.", Jungkook said to her with a smile. But, she does not even look back at him and closed her ears with her hands. Jungkook just chuckled at her reaction to him.

He knows why she is acting like that and so, he keeps teasing her by pressing the honk a few times until she turns to look at him. However, she does not just give a look but also a lecture after that. "Can you stop?! It's noisy and disturbing other people, ok?!", Chaeyoung screamed at him as she pulled his hand from the honk.

Jungkook smirked at her before his feet pressed the brake pad to stop the car. Chaeyoung's hand which is holding his is spinned around so that he is now holding it. Then, he kisses it briefly and winks at her playfully.

"Yah, what are you doing?!", she asked as she pulled her hand away from him after that. Jungkook lets out a laughter before apologizing for not coming to send her to work that morning. He was so caught up with something that he did not realize his phone battery died. Because of that, he had no alarm set to wake him up.

"Come on. Forgive me. I'm here now, right? Get in. I'll send you home.", Jungkook said to her as he got out of his car. Then, he takes Chaeyoung's hand to lead her to the passenger seat but she remains where she is standing.

"Chaeyoung.", Jungkook calls her softly as he slowly puts his hand on her back to make her move. Then, Chaeyoung looks at him with a blank expression on her face. "You made me worried about you. You were never unreachable but this morning...", Chaeyoung's words are stopped by Jungkook.

"I've called you an hour after you went to work, right? I'm sorry, I wouldn't do it again. Next time, I'll make sure the phone's battery will not get zero percent.", Jungkook said with a bright smile on his face. Then, Chaeyoung gets inside of the passenger seat of his car.

Few minutes later, Chaeyoung realized that the road they are going to is not to her house's way. She asks Jungkook where he is going but he just keeps quiet. When she asks him again, he puts his forefinger on his lips signaling that it is secret.

Annoyed with him, Chaeyoung glared at him before looking outside of the window not bothering where he is taking her to. After 30 minutes of driving, Jungkook parked his car at the parking lot before telling Chaeyoung that they have arrived.

Chaeyoung is unfamiliar of the place as she looked outside with an invisible question mark above her head. Jungkook sees how her face looked like so he tells her to come out with him. When he gets to her door, Chaeyoung comes out looking a bit puzzled.

He then, asked her to look up at something behind her. She does as told and sees a big and high tower there. She turns to look at Jungkook with wide eyes. "N Seoul Tower? Seriously you bring me here, Jungkook?", she asks him.

"Let's go. We'll see if you're fine with height or not.", Jungkook said making Chaeyoung reminded of their conversation few days ago. At that time, they were having dinner together and Jungkook asked her to name the destinations she wants to go if she has a bucket list.

Her first answer is N Seoul Tower which made Jungkook chuckled at her. He was thinking of somewhere much further like other countries but Chaeyoung just keeps her scope small. She told him that she wanted to go there to experience being in the high place.

Therefore, Jungkook brings her there today at night. While they are walking towards it, Chaeyoung scolds him and says that they can just go tomorrow since tomorrow is Saturday. But Jungkook shook his head saying that he wants to go tonight too.

When they got high up in the sky, Chaeyoung got so excited and jumps a little as she looks outside. Jungkook smiles as he looks at how happy Chaeyoung is. He loves how she reacts when she is happy. The little jumps and happy face she has makes Jungkook feel a bit at ease.

Even though his mind is still thinking of something else, he could forget it when he is with Chaeyoung. She makes him feel happy even just for a while. "Chaeyoung.", he called her name when she is busy looking around for her house from up there.

"Hmm?", she replied as her eyes meet his. "Now you can cross a line for your first destination in your bucket list.", Jungkook said as he takes her hand in his. Chaeyoung smiles before thanking him for taking her there.

Definitely she is not afraid of height after he saw how happy she is in the tower. After the sightseeing, Jungkook brings her to eat dinner together before taking her home. While in the car, Chaeyoung keeps quiet making Jungkook feels weird of her.

He can just read what is in her mind but he does not do that. Ever since he knows her, he never uses his power on her. He does not feel good to do that to her. So, he asks her what is wrong because she has been quiet after the dinner.

"It's 11 already. I'm scared my mom would be angry at me.", she answered as she pointed at the clock near the radio. Jungkook chuckled at her before reminding her that her mom will not be angry if she just tells the truth.

He also told her that he has asked for her mom's permission first before taking her to the tower. Chaeyoung asked in disbelief of what she just heard. She did not think he really came to see her mom first before taking her there.

"I'm serious. You can ask your mom when you get home.", Jungkook said as he started driving after the traffic light turned green. Chaeyoung smiled at him for quite a while even though Jungkook's eyes are focused on the road. She cannot believe how kind and respectful he is to her family.

Even though he knows how she is treated badly by them, he still treat them in a good way. Sometimes, Chaeyoung thinks he is too good to be true but he really is good though. He treats her well for almost a month now since he got back from Geneva.

After he sends Chaeyoung home, he drives off to somewhere to be alone. His mind is still thinking hard. Thinking about what? Thinking about where the vampire he met a month ago gone to.

He has tried to find him when he is free but the vampire is just nowhere to be found. Jungkook is actually feeling worried because he can senses something weird like last time but he does not see the vampire anywhere.
