A Good Night

It has been a week after they went to N Seoul Tower and Jungkook got a new place to bring Chaeyoung to. Therefore, he comes to her house at 8 to take her dinner somewhere. When Jungkook got there, Chaeyoung has already waited outside and so she smiled at him as she got into his car.

"Where are we going to, Jungkook?", Chaeyoung asked him as she looked at him. However, Jungkook just smiled before starting to drive his car. Chaeyoung is left without answer to her question so she called out his name.

He nodded in response and told her to guess while they are on their way. Chaeyoung frowned at him but she tried to guess too. She said a few places but Jungkook shook his head to all of them. She gave up and told him to just reveal it to her.

"No way. It's a surprise. I won't tell you until we get there.", Jungkook replied with a grin. Chaeyoung pouted as she asked him to reveal but Jungkook sticks to his stance not to tell her. So, Chaeyoung stared at him in annoyance. "Keep staring. I know I'm handsome, Chaeyoungie.", Jungkook said while he is focusing on driving.

After almost 45 minutes of the drive, they finally stopped as Chaeyoung looked outside of the unfamiliar place. "We're here. Let's go.", Jungkook said as he got out of his car. He came to her side and opened the door for her.

"We're in Hongdae now. This is where you'll see all talented singers singing on the street. You wanted to see it, right?", Jungkook said as he watched Chaeyoung stepping out of his car. She looked around and saw many people on the street walking around.

Then, her eyes caught many street food stalls and Jungkook saw how her eyes are gleaming at the sight. "Can we go get some food first?", Chaeyoung asked him as she takes his hand in hers. Jungkook nodded as he followed her to see the stalls there.

He asked her if she just wanted to eat street food or go to restaurant later. But she said she wanted to taste the food on the street only for the night. So, Jungkook just followed her from one stall to another as they tasted different foods there.

After some time, they stopped at a corner where a band is playing music there. It looked like they do not have a singer and just playing instruments there. Chaeyoung knows the song they are playing so she lip sync to the song with Jungkook.

Suddenly, the keyboardist of the band came to them while bringing a mic. They did not realize it until the keyboardist was right in front of them. He asked them to sing while they play the instruments but Chaeyoung shook her head. She is shy enough to sing yet Jungkook took the mic with him.

"Let's sing for fun.", he said as he pulled her hand to the center with him. Chaeyoung clearly pulled back but the keyboardist asked her to sing just one song. She felt a bit guilty of being asked like that so she eventually nodded. "Just one song.", she said to him.

After that, the band started playing their instruments and Jungkook gave the mic to her. She took it slowly until it is time to sing and she started singing the acoustic version of 'I Need Your Love'. She was trembling at first so Jungkook held the mic for her with a smile.

When they started to sing together, Chaeyoung felt relieved and more relaxed to sing. Many people came to see their performance and recorded it too. Jungkook showed Chaeyoung of the crowd watching them and she smiled shyly as she keeps singing to the end of the song.

After the performance, Chaeyoung bowed down together with Jungkook who never let go of her hand. Then, he gave the mic back to the keyboardist and said thank you to him. They bowed to each other before Jungkook and Chaeyoung left.

While on their way back to the car, Jungkook praised her voice many times until she got embarrassed. She actually liked that she got to sing but at the same time she felt insecure of how people would think after they hear her voice. After the performance, she felt happy many people liked it.

"Jungkook, I need to go to the toilet for a while. You can wait for me in the car first.", Chaeyoung said before pointing to a restaurant to use its toilet. Jungkook nodded and went to his car first. He started the engine and waited for her in there.

Chaeyoung goes to the sink to wash her hands after doing her business earlier. While she is washing her hands, she looked around through the large mirror in front of her. It felt so quiet even though the restaurant still have many customers out there.

After she is done, she looked at herself in the mirror for a while. Suddenly, she heard the sound of the door being opened but she saw no one coming in. It is just a strong wind that she felt passed behind her. It startled her but she remained relaxed as she starts to walk out of the toilet.

Jungkook looked at the time and realized that Chaeyoung has been gone for almost 15 minutes. He got worried and went to look for her in the restaurant she pointed at before. Once he got in, he asked a waiter there if he sees a young lady wearing a white hoodie with a black jeans went there.

She nodded and said that she saw her went to the toilet. So, Jungkook made his way to the toilet as he felt something wrong. When he got there, he opened the door slowly because he does not want to just barge in to the ladies toilet.

He took a step in slowly as he started to call for Chaeyoung. However, he did not get any response but he suddenly sensed something else. That sense he is looking for since that night. He could not wait any longer so he opened the toilet door at the most end.

There, he sees Chaeyoung being pinned to the wall as her neck is bitten roughly. He also sees the vampire he met before is the one biting and drinking her blood. Jungkook is furious so he pulled the cruel vampire from Chaeyoung to the ground.

His eyes are darkened with anger as he punched the vampire on his face several times. However, the vampire does not even fight back as if he is not interested to. Jungkook punched him until his eyes got teary without he realised.

He stopped at a certain point when he saw the vampire smiled sarcastically at him. "Are you done? Next time don't bother me, Jeon Jungkook.", he said as he stood up and looked at Jungkook who is on the floor with his hand shaking in anger. "She's dying. You still can save her. Don't mind me, I don't want to fight with you.", he said as he turned around to leave the place.

"Kim Taehyung!", Jungkook shouted making the vampire stopped for a while. "I will find you and make you pay for what you did.", Jungkook continued before sending him a death glare as he walked out of there. Jungkook's tears finally dropped as he went to Chaeyoung's side.
