Getting Started

Jungkook walked weakly back to the chair he sat and tried to grasp what happened just now. Everything was too fast for him so he did not get to understand it all. They were just having fun walking around and then, had a great time having dinner together.

Next, all of a sudden she acted coldly with him and Jimin appeared. Or Taehyung, he could not be sure of it since Chaeyoung did not tell him anything about him. But he saw her tears when she was about to leave. That made him questioning even more and he felt so helpless at that time.

While he was sitting with his head put on the table, he heard fireworks sound coming from near the Eiffel tower which can be seen from the church. He turned to look at it and saw the fireworks forming the words 'HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY!' just above the tower.

"What a fool I am!", he cursed himself as he turned away from looking at it. "You're not, Jungkook.", Mino said as he appeared in front of Jungkook taking the empty chair and sits down on it. "Mino? What...are...you doing here?", Jungkook asked as he blinked at Mino in front of him.

"I'm here to do my part in our plan.", he told Jungkook who is still did not understand. "Our plan...which may have been changed a bit.", he continued. Jungkook asked him to explain more about it because he did not know what Mino meant to say.

Therefore, Mino told him about Irene's knowledge of the other way to be human again and told about Yoongi. "Why didn't Yoongi hyung just bring us to the prison he knew?", Jungkook asked in the middle of the explanation. "Because that prison had only one and he had took the potion for himself. So, we need to find another vampire prison and we knew Taehyung knew one.", Mino answered to him.

"Are you sure that prison he was in has the same potion in there?", Jungkook asked as he has doubt on the plan. "Yes, we're sure. He has gone there before he took Chaeyoung with him today, Jungkook.", Mino told him. "How can he easily obeyed her about her plan to be human again? It's so not sound like him.", Jungkook got suspicious of that matter.

"Because he felt attached to her, Jungkook.", that is all Mino said and he understood it. "He has feelings for my wife, my soulmate?!", Jungkook asked in a bit louder voice. He suddenly felt angry as his fist is formed on the table.

"He doesn't know both of you are soulmate, Jungkook. But, don't worry. We find this is the only way to get that potion for both of you. We still have time to catch on with them. That's why I'm here.", he explained the reason he is there. "Let's go to the airport now, Jungkook.", he added.

Then, Jungkook asked why do they have to go to the airport and Mino video called someone for him. "Hey, Mino. I'm already at the airport. Where you at?", the voice made Jungkook quickly looked at the phone screen. "Hyung!", he said as he saw Yoongi's face.

"Oh, hey. Jungkook, my brother.", Yoongi said as he waved in the screen. "Looks like you two have met. This means Taehyung will be here with Chaeyoung anytime, right?", he asked as he looked at Mino and he nodded. "You can start to keep your eyes on them while we're tailing them, Yoongi.", Mino told him as Jungkook listened.

After the call ended, Jungkook shook his head unbelieving that he did not know anything about the plan. "I'm sorry, Jungkook. We're all sorry. But it's better to not let you know so that Taehyung trusted Chaeyoung's act.", Mino said before telling him to take the clutch purse that she left on the table.

When he took it, Mino told him to open it and he did as told. Then, he took out a piece of paper that was in it and Mino told him to read what is written in there. So, he opened the folded paper and begins to read the content.

'Hey, Kookie.

I'm sorry for doing all this thing without your knowledge. But it's better if you know nothing. I need Taehyung to trust me wholly to make this plan works. If you're reading this now, it means I'm already with him to the prison. But don't worry, whatever I said to you wasn't what I mean. I want you to find me, Jungkook. But, I want you to promise me one thing. Don't kill Taehyung, please. I don't want it to be the other way around. I love you, Jungkook. I'll see you soon, my prince.'

Jungkook folded the paper to how it was before and put it in his suit's pocket. "Let's go to my car.", he said as he led Mino to walk to his car.

Chaeyoung stopped when Taehyung held her hand as they have gotten quite far from the church. Then, he smiled as he looked at her beside him. "Can we go now?", Chaeyoung asked as she smiled faintly at him. "Wait up.", he said to her.

Moments later, they heard the sound of fireworks exploding and they see the fireworks coming from the Eiffel tower. Just when they saw it, the fireworks formed words that said 'HAPPY 1ST ANNIVERSARY!' in various colours. As they looked at it, Chaeyoung's eyes got wet in tears but she held it in as she knew who she is standing with at that time.

"Let's go now, Tae.", she said sternly as she looked at him with a nod. Taehyung nodded back at her in agreement before they made their way to the airport.
