A Little Heart Broken

Jungkook wandered around the city of Geneva after meeting Mino as his mind was clouded with what Mino said about Chaeyoung. He kept thinking if she really hated him when she found out he turned her to a vampire like him. He could not ignore that thought even though it was in the past.

So, he took the time to be alone for a while before he goes back to France. Only when it's almost nighttime, he finally decided to go back by taking the train to Paris.

Chaeyoung turned off the TV and got ready to sleep when her phone suddenly rang. Actually it had been ringing for several times but she did not bother to pick up as she did not want to give hope to the caller. However, this time it was a different caller with the name 'Felix' who is a bar owner and also her French friend.

She did not know why he called but she picked it up anyway. "Hello there, Felix.", she greeted him.

"Hello, Rosé. I'm sorry if I disturbed you at this time. But, can you come to my bar?", he asked her which made her frowned at his question. She asked if he meant for her to come there at that exact time. "Yes, now. Actually, it's Jimin. He looks messed up here.", Felix told her. Then, she asked what he meant by that.

"My brother, Pierre told him to go home since he's too drunk already but he refused. He said he wanted to see someone first. Only then, he will leave. Pierre asked who and he said Chaeyoung. He also showed your number and said it's Chaeyoung's number. Can you come here, Rosé?", Felix told her every details.

"Oh, he...okay. I'll be there. You keep an eye on him for me, Felix.", she replied as she looked at the clock before ending the call. Then, she quickly changed her clothes and took the car key hung on the wall beside the front door. "Just what is your problem now, Jimin?", she said as she remembered Jimin had tried to call her many times before Felix called her.

Chaeyoung parked her car at the parking lot beside Felix's bar before going inside. As she got in, she was greeted by Pierre who then brought her to where Jimin was. She looked at him who was talking gibberish with Felix sitting in front of him. "Jimin.", she called him when she got near to the table.

"Chaeyoung? Oh, you finally come.", he said as he tried to wave his hand at her which looked more like it was just swaying around. She hated to see him like that but she did not want to scold him too. So, she stayed calm as she asked him, "What's going on with you, Jimin? Why are you getting too drunk like this?"

Jimin just laughed as he heard it before slowly standing up from the chair he sat. He almost fall back down if not for Felix and Chaeyoung quickly held his shoulders. "Jimin, careful!", she said as she tried to help him stand up straight. "Felix, can you help me bring him to his car?", she asked and Felix agreed right away.

They brought Jimin into the back seat of his car and Chaeyoung got to the driver's seat in front. "Wait, Rosé. How about your car?", Felix asked as he saw her red Stinger parked there. "I'll come back later after I send him home. Don't worry about it.", she replied as she started the engine. "Okay, drive safely then.", he said as he watched her close the car door.

Then, Chaeyoung opened the window a bit and thanked him for helping her brought Jimin into the car. Before she started to drive, she looked behind at Jimin who lied down sleeping. "I'm sorry if I'm the reason you became like this.", she said before she drove away from there.

When she reached his house, she brought him inside by herself as no one was around. She put him to his bed and looked at him for a while. It was a miracle that he did not vomit even though he drank a lot of alcohol. So, she let him sleep with his current clothes as she did not think it will be fine for her to change them by herself.

After making sure he was alright, she said good night to him before standing up to leave. Just when she was about to walk, she felt her hand being grabbed which made her stopped. She looked at Jimin and asked him to let her go. He did not open his eyes but he shook his head as a response.

"Stay here, please.", he said to her. "Please. You don't know how hurt I am when you ignore me this whole day, Rosé.", he continued as he pulled her hand slowly. Chaeyoung felt guilty after hearing it from him but she cannot stay. That will be a bad decision, she thought. But then, her softhearted side took over.

"Fine, I'll stay.", she said as she sat down on the floor watching him sleep. After a half an hour, she tried to take her hand away from him but he probably aware of it as he tighten his grip on her hand. So, she gave up and sighed at him.

Suddenly, she felt him pulling her hand close to his face. She was startled and quickly pulled her hand away from him as she stood up. "Jimin, wake up! You don't know what you're doing!", she said making Jimin's eyes opened in a sudden. He looked at her blankly as he asked what happened.

"You almost kiss...oh, just forget it. I'm sorry. I'm leaving. Bye, Jimin.", she said as she hurriedly went out of his room. He watched her until she was gone and punched the pillow beside him after that. "Dammit! I almost got you, Park Chaeyoung.", he exclaimed angrily.
