I See You

Chaeyoung lied down on her bed and waited for Jungkook to call her as usual. However, it had passed 5 minutes late and he still did not call her. So, she decided to call him instead. Just when she wanted to tap the video call icon, the screen changed as her phone ringtone is heard.

When she looked at who called her, she sighed but she still answered the call. "Yes, Jimin. Good morning, why are you looking for me this early?", she said as she put her phone to her left ear. "Oh, it's tonight? I thought it's next week!", Chaeyoung asked as she forgot about Jimin's invitation to go with him to his university friend's birthday party.

"Who told you to ask me yesterday about something for today? You know I'm busy. Of course I thought you were asking for next week not tonight.", she let out a rant at him.

She did not expect that the party he invited her was for tonight since he just asked yesterday. She is not a person who likes to do something in a sudden but she also did not want to disappoint Jimin. "Okay, I'll go with you.", she gave him her decision before they ended the call.

Then, Chaeyoung looked at her contact list again and waited for Jungkook. Just when she was about to give up, she saw his name which made her smiling happily. "Jeon Jungkook, where are you?! You're 14 minutes late than our usual time.", she said right after she picked up the call.

Jennie looked at Chaeyoung from the counter after Lisa told her that Chaeyoung is scaring her. "What so scary, Lisa?", she asked as she was about to take the tray of food to Chaeyoung's table. "She's been smiling a lot. I wonder who made her all smiles like that.", Lisa said as she stopped Jennie.

"Let's ask her then.", Jennie simply said with a meaningful smile and started to walk to the table where Chaeyoung is. Lisa followed her steps and smiled the same back to Jennie.

When they got to the table, Jennie did asked Chaeyoung but she only smiled at them as a response. "Oh, I'm not expecting that response.", Jennie said making Chaeyoung chuckled at her. "It's nothing, guys. I'm just happy today.", she replied to them.

"Oh, yeah. By the way, do you guys go to Jimin's friend's party tonight?", she asked them when she remembered about the party she is attending that night. Both Jennie and Lisa looked at each other with a frown. They shook their heads as they turned to look at Chaeyoung.

"Now I think I know why she's been smiling all day.", Lisa teased and winked at Jennie. "What? Guys, no. I'm not smiling because I'm going to the party with him but... seriously he didn't ask you two about it?", Chaeyoung asked in a little shocked voice.

Jennie shook her head once again which is followed by Lisa. "It's okay though. What's important is finally Jimin get to take you out alone.", she said with a little smile at Chaeyoung. "Right. We're going as friends, don't think of anything else, guys.", Chaeyoung retorted as she felt like she had made a wrong decision.

Jimin came to Chaeyoung's house and drove her to his friend's house, Kim Seokjin. After Chaeyoung complained that he did not tell her he was just bringing her alone without the girls, they became so quiet along the way to Jin's house. Neither of them speaks until Jimin parked his car.

"Rosé, are you going to keep quiet until we go back? I've said sorry and told you why I only bring you, right?", Jimin uttered out the question to her. She turned around to look at him and shook her head.

"I'm not mad if you tell them we're just friends. I don't care about your friends wanting you to bring a girlfriend or partner whatsoever. I want you to tell them the truth.", she gave him her answer. Jimin sighed as he heard it but he still nodded. "Okay, I will tell them you're my friend. Nothing more than that, Rosé.", he said.

"Okay, then. Let's go.", she replied as she opened the door. She just hoped that the party will end early as she did not like to have to spend time with Jimin alone. Plus, she did not know anyone else there except Jimin.

"Where is she going alone with that guy?", he thought as he followed by taking a taxi. He looked at the big house that could be called a mansion that the two were going in to. He saw a lot of people there in colourful clothing and heard a loud music from the house.

"Oh, she's going for trouble, is she?", he said as he shook his head. After he lost sight of the person he followed, he paid the taxi driver and walked out of it while wearing his black shades.

Chaeyoung talked with some of the girls that were there when Jimin was gone to the toilet. She did not really have the mood to party but she still tried to be cheerful as she talked with them. Then, Jin came greeting the girls including her.

"Rosé, where's Jimin?", he asked as he brought two boxes of various food to the table. "He's...", Chaeyoung was talking but she was interrupted by Jimin himself. "I'm here, Jin hyung. What do you bring with you, huh?", he said as he gave a side hug to him.

Chaeyoung looked at him who looked like he was about to get drunk. "Yah, Jimin! Are you drunk already? Come on...", Jin said as he looked at Jimin beside him. Jimin tried to shake his head but he suddenly fell on the sofa with eyes half opened. "He drank a lot with the guys. Of course he's drunk.", Dahyun said as she walked and sits next to Jimin.

"Really? I can't believe Jimin changed so much. He used to be a good boy back then.", Jin said as he slapped Jimin's face slowly. "Yah, Jin hyung! Don't talk about the past. This is the new me. No more good boy, good grades. Just Jimin who love to get high.", Jimin said proudly.

It was not what Chaeyoung liked to see so she asked Jimin if he wanted to go home. However, he declined and roughly pulled Chaeyoung's hand until she fell on his lap. "Jimin!!", she shouted when she held the back of the sofa with both her hands as her face was just an inch away from him.

Not long after that, she felt a smack on her lips which was gross for her. "I like you, Park Chaeyoung.", she quickly pushed herself away from him after hearing those words. She wiped her lips that was attacked by Jimin as everyone there looked at her.

"Please tell him I've gone home and that he doesn't need to look for me if he wakes up.", Chaeyoung said as she saw Jimin went unconscious already. Her face looked so angry but she decided just to leave the place at that exact moment. She did not want to argue with Jimin who was drunk so leaving was the best she could decide to do.

"We're here, miss.", the taxi driver said as he stopped in front of her house. She could just use her power to get home quickly but her mind was a bit messed up. So, she chose to relax in a car driven by someone else instead of abruptly arrived home by herself.

After what happened at the party, she cannot stop thinking of whether she should tell Jungkook or not about it. Plus, she just found out something else that was quite shocking which she also does not know if she can tell him about it. When she reached the door and opened it, she decided to tell Jungkook about that 'something' only.

"Park Chaeyoung, wait!", she heard her name being called which made her a bit shocked. "Jungkook?", she said as she turned around to see the owner of the voice that called her. "Finally, I see you.", he said as he shook his head while putting his shades on his jacket.
