A Box

It has been a routine for Jungkook to bring Chaeyoung to his house for dinner since that day. He has been doing it every twice a week just to keep Chaeyoung consumes blood regularly. He felt a bit lucky because Chaeyoung doesn't show any addiction to it.

If she is addicted, maybe it is time for Jungkook to tell her the truth. Every time he brings her to his house, he cooked different kind of foods . He did that because he doesn't want her to help him in the kitchen and wanted to surprise her with various kind of food he knows.

Chaeyoung doesn't even complaint since everytime she wanted to help him, he will say that he will carry her bridal style out of the kitchen. Because of she doesn't want that to happen, she gives up and leaves the kitchen letting him prepare the food alone.

After they had their dinner that night, Chaeyoung helped him to wash the dishes while he wiped the ones she has washed. At that time, she asked Jungkook how he knows to cook variety of food because she is curious of it. Plus, sometimes he cooked Western food, another time he made Thai food and today he cooked Italian dishes.

When Jungkook is about to answer, he heard a knock on his door and he excused himself for a while to see who is out there. However, there is no one at the front door when he opened it. He looked to the right and left before he realized something on the floor.

As he crouched down to take the thing that seems to be a white plain box, he looked around again in suspicion. After he is clear there is no one around, he picked up the box and closed the door behind him. Then, he opened the box slowly to see what is inside it.

He looked at the thing inside the box for quite a while until Chaeyoung came to the hallway calling his name. He quickly put the box inside the drawer next to the door before going to Chaeyoung. "Why? Who was that?", Chaeyoung asked him as he grinned at her.

"Nothing. Just... someone got lost. I've told him the right way to his destination. Don't worry.", Jungkook answered nonchalantly. "Oh, okay then.", Chaeyoung replied. "Chaeyoung, can you stay here tonight? Since tomorrow is your off day.", he suggested in a sudden.

But, he knows Chaeyoung would not easily agree. She told him she cannot stay there unless her family knows so Jungkook quickly called her stepmother at that time. He told her that he will send Chaeyoung home tomorrow and ended the call after he heard an 'okay' at the other end.

"Your mom said okay.", he smiled at her triumphantly while she looked at him annoyed. "Let's watch a movie, shall we?", he said as he pulled her hand to follow him to the living room. After he opened the TV, he sat beside Chaeyoung who is changing the channels with a bored look on her face.
