Unfortunately Bloody Love (COMPLETED)

In Her Mind

Jungkook puts everything they bought for the wedding into the car boot. Then, he got inside the driver's seat with Chaeyoung already waiting beside it. When he started the engine, Chaeyoung asked whether they can go home already.

"No, let's have an early dinner first. Then, I'll take you home. Ok?", he said as he started to drive.

While they are having dinner at a French restaurant, Jungkook can see that Chaeyoung has been quiet since they finished shopping. So, he puts down the spoon and fork on the plate and called Chaeyoung's name.

"Are you okay? You've been so quiet today, Chae.", he said as he looked at her in the eyes. She slowly nodded with a little 'hmm' heard in the end. Jungkook knows something is not right but he does not want to read what's on her mind. So, he does it like a normal human do.

"I know there's something bothering you. Just tell me what is it, Chae.", he said as his right hand slides forward to reach her hand and rubs it softly. He hopes that she is willing to tell him what it is because he does not like it when she suddenly being quiet with him.

Chaeyoung looked at him quietly still hesitating to open her mouth. So, Jungkook nodded to assure her that it is okay to tell him what is she thinking of. Only then, she started to say it to him.

"Jungkook, aren't we... doing this too fast?", she asked him. He frowned upon the question before asking what she meant. "We... getting married. You just proposed to me a week ago. Today, we've done with all the things for the preparation. And, next weekend will be our wedding day. Doesn't it feels too soon?", she explained.

The words Chaeyoung just said made him a bit taken aback with it. He knows what she said was true but he just couldn't hold it longer. He wants the wedding to happen quickly so that he can tell the truth to Chaeyoung after that.

He remembered what Irene said to him. She said that she suggested him to marry Chaeyoung first because a marriage is a tie that binds two souls not to just love each other but also to learn to accept each other and learn to become better together.

So, she believes that a marriage will not make Chaeyoung's love for him easily waver just because that one thing he did to her. Plus, she must have understand that he did that to save her life. In the end, she will be thankful to him too.

Jungkook is sure what Irene told him is true. If Chaeyoung doesn't love him with her whole heart, she would not say yes at the first place. So, he cannot back out of the wedding plan and just continue until it happen.

"The sooner the better. Plus, I've told you that I will be busy after our wedding day, right? So, before I got myself busy with my work, it's better if we settle down first.", he reassured her as both his hands are now holding hers softly.

Chaeyoung looked at him with hope that they are doing the right thing at the right time. She loves him so much but her mind was bothered by how fast they are taking it to the next level. After Jungkook answered her, she apologized for the question she asked earlier.

But, Jungkook just smiled warmly saying that it's okay since she needed to know to be sure. After that, she excused herself to go to the toilet for a while and Jungkook nodded as he watched her go. Then, he rubbed his face with his hands in anger.

He is angry with himself for lying to Chaeyoung. He lied about being busy because the truth is that he actually wants to take her out of the country to stay away from danger. The danger that could be caused by the other vampire.

"Again, I'm sorry, Chaeyoung.", he said as he remembered that this is the second time he disappointed her without her knowing. The first time was when he turned her into something inhuman and he really didn't like what he actually did.
