Lapis POV
We arrived at school the next day. We both know the truths about our pasts. We both know we were both raped. We both know that we were hurt. But we have each other, nothing can make me happier. We met with Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Connie and decided to walk to class together. Of course Connie would leave for a different class but she can always come along.
"So Peri? What happened that made you run away?"
I look down at Peridot who started stuttering.
"S-she doesn't want to talk about it!"
I cut in. They all nod. I slowly intertwined my hand with Peridot's and we moved closer to each other.
"Thanks Lapis.."
Peridot whispered.
"No problem"
I whisper back.
"Who's ready for finals!?"
Pearl asks enthusiastically.
We all groan.
"Hey why no enthusiasm!?"
"It's exams P! Get the hint?"
Pearl still looks annoyed. Connie then leaves to her class. We continue walking.
"Hey runts!"
We all turn and see Jasper. I grip becomes tighter on Peridot's hand. Jasper walks up to us (me in particular)
"Hey Lapis? How's it going?"
I look at her in a bit of fear.
"I-it's g-good.."
I say nervously.
"I just came to say...ugh...I'm sorry..."
I look at her confused.
"What?"
"Look, I thought over what I did after you fainting and, I kinda realised how much I've hurt you.."
I look at her....will I?
I then hug her, making everyone gasp and Jasper tense up, she then wraps her arms gently around me, we then break apart.
"Okay, I forgive but, it doesn't mean we are goody good with each other"
A small smile tugs at her lips.
"Well runts I'll see ye in class!"
She walks off, we just stand and stare at the fiasco.
