Lapis POV
Me and Peridot have been talking about it for awhile. Kids. We actually wanted one to call our own. But we're both girls so that's not gonna work out, or is it? I went to a sperm doner a few weeks ago and got some sperm. I checked the little stick and saw two lines, I squealed with excitement and hopped around the apartment, Turquoise was looking at me oddly but shrugged it off. I need to make it special, I wrote a note saying was gone for a bit and left.
Timeskip
I arrived back with the things I need and saw Peridot cooking. I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her.
"Hi Peri!"
I kissed her in the cheek.
"Hey Lapis! Watcha got there?"
"Nothing!"
I say, grabbing the things and heading to our room.
LATER TIMESKIP!
Peridot went to the bathroom and I quickly ran up to the oven and put the bun in the oven, I then ran back to my seat and Peridot came back.
"Peridot! I forgot that I left something in the oven! Can you be a sweetheart and get it for me?"
She huffs.
"Fine!"
She walks over, bends down and opens it, looking at the singular bun.
"Lapis there's just a bun in the....oven....OH MY GOD LAPIS!!"
I giggled and walked up to her, she was jaw dropped.
"Guess who has a living being inside of them?"
Peridot smiles at me, tears in her eyes.
"Lapis your amazing!"
She picks me up by the waist and swings me around giggling. I smile and join in with the giggles and hug her back. We then crashed our lips together.
Timeskip to a few weeks
We waited in the hospital, we went to get them scans so we can see the baby, my stomach looks like it's after digesting like too many cookies. We arrived in the scan room and I layer down on the bed, the nurse put some gel which was freezing on my stomach. Peridot looked down at me smiling and then looked up at the screen, I also looked up and as a little figure that looks like an alien, I giggle a bit at it.
"Wow, I can't believe that's in me"
I say smiling.
"Yeah it is"
Peridot says after me.
"We can determine the gender now, would ye like to know?"
Me and Peridot nod.
