2) Meet Up and Sickness

Peridot POV
We waited in the cafe, we're meeting up with Pearl, Amethyst and Steven just to have a coffee! They don't know about any of the baby business so we're gonna tell them today. We even have little pictures of it! They walked in.
"Hey guys!"
Steven said, happy as usual, he was then followed by Pearl and then Amethyst.
"Yo!"
Amethyst said, sliding into her seat. Pearl went to order things for Amethyst and Steven.
"So guys! How's life! We haven't seen ye since ye moved here!"
Steven asked.
"Well, we'll tell ye guys, but we're waiting for Pearl"
Lapis said. Pearl soon joined back and they headed off on their walk in the park.
"So what have you two been up to since we last saw you?"
Pearl asked, taking a sip of her tea.
"Well, we were actually at the hospital the other day!"
"What happened!? Who got hurt!?"
Pearl said with fright, nearly dropping the cup.
"Pearl! No one got hurt!"
Pearl sighed in relief.
"Then why?"
Steven butted in.
"Here!"
Lapis took out the pictures and gave it to Pearl, Pearl examined them and then squealed and hugged Lapis.
"What P!? Let me see!"
Amethyst huffed, she grabbed them out of Pearl's hand and looked at the pictures.
"OH! MY ACTUAL GOD!!"
Amethyst exclaimed, Steven then looked over Amethyst's shoulder to look at the pictures.
"What is that!?"
Steven asked.
"Steven it's a baby!"
I giggled. Steven inspected it more.
"It doesn't look like one?"
"Well duh! It's still growing!"
I tell him, he makes an 'oh' shape with his mouth.
"THATS SO COOL!!"
Steven exclaims. We continue walking.
"So what's the gender? Or do ye know yet?"
"Oh we know!"
Steven jumps in between us.
"What is it?"

Timeskip
Lapis POV
Me and Peridot sit on the couch watching some Netflix. I kinda start to feel queasy but shrug it off, after a bit it got worse, Peridot noticed.
"Lapis are you okay?"
"Y-yeah? I think?"
I said unsuringly. My reflexes kick in and a clutch my stomach and run to the bathroom. I ended up puking. Peridot soon ran in after me, she knelt beside me, rubbing my back.
"Shit, I was kinda hoping to be that pregnant woman who doesn't get sick but obviously life has different plans for me!"
I say annoyed, folllowed by more puking. Peridot stayed beside me the whole time. We soon left the bathroom and went to sleep, but I got no sleep, I kept having to run to the bathroom.
"Lapis! Are you okay this is your 6th time?"
Peridot asks, plopping herself down beside me again. I run my eyes.
"I don't know-"
I puke more. I rub my mouth and get up.
"I really don't know"
Peridot looks at me pity fully, she then hugs me gently, I slowly wrap my arms around her, she rocked me on the spot.
"I thought this might have been easy, but now I have to deal with this for 9 months, I just don't know anymore..."
I tear up, I felt her thumb wipe my tear away.
"Hey, it's okay! You just need to sleep, you're getting way too worked up Lappy"
I blush, she never really calls me that, but when she does I find it adorable, it makes me happy every time. I smile weakly up at her, she smiles back. We head back to bed, Peridot wrapped her arms around me, I nestled into her, and I fell asleep.
