21) The Unexpected

Lapis POV
I wake up, stretching in bed and yawned. I turned in my side to see my girlfri- fiancé sleeping peacefully beside me, she was curled into a little ball, a bit a drool managed to escape her mouth. I giggle softly at her, I wrap my arms around her and brought her close to me. She nestled herself beside me.
"Peri? I know you're awake"
I sang. Peridot groaned but smiled, she opened her eyes and looked up at me, she let out a yawn and then she wrapped her arms around me. And of course her phone buzzes. We both sit up and Peridot checked her phone. She then groaned and flopped back onto the bed.
"What's wrong Peri?"
She rubbed her eyes.
"My brother is coming over today!"
I looked at her.
"But isn't he like, older than you?"
Peridot sat herself back up.
"Yeah but he never saw me in a few years so I guess he wants to see me now!"
We both get up and got ready for today. I couldn't help but gaze upon the ring on my finger, I put my hand up in front of my face, looking at the ring. I then saw a pale hand with another ring go up beside it, and then felt an arm wrap around my waist. I look beside me.
"Lapis why are you so cute?"
I giggle.
"I don't know? I'm just so irresistible!"
I say with a smirk, she rolls her eyes playfully and kisses me on the cheek, making me giggle more.

A knock came from the door, I opened it and saw a tall guy with blonde hair and glasses. Guess this is her brother.
"Hey beautiful!"
He says winking at me. My face scrunched up a bit.
"PERIDOT! YOUR BROTHER IS HERE!"
"Please! It's Daniel"
He bends onto one knee, grabbing my hand and kissing it.
"Please! I don't give a fuck!"
I swipe my hand away and smirk at him. Peridot bounces along into the room.
"Hi Daniel!"
"Hey Peridork!"
Peridot groans.
"I told you not to call me that!"
He laughs.
"Who's this beautiful girl?"
He points to me.
"Oh Daniel, this is Lapis, she's my.. Eh...fiancé.."
He looks at me, then at Peridot, he then notices the rings on our hands.
"Now how did you end up with someone before me huh?"
He asks Peridot.
"Well....actually you just start by actually talking to someone!"
Peridot says to him, he groans and sits on the couch.
"So what are we gonna do? Oh! We can go to the skatepark!"
I roll my eyes.
"I-okay?"
Peridot says, I shrug and wrap my arm around Peridot's neck.
Timeskip
We arrive and her brother started doing laps of the park on his skateboard, me and Peri sat hand in hand on a bench close by.
"So, how long is he gonna be here?"
Peridot shrugs.
"I don't know, I guess we just have to wait and see..."
I nod and lean my head on her shoulder, I softly kiss her on the cheek and she blushes. I giggle.
"So, where do you think we'll go for the wedding?"
"I have no clue!"
"Well we have to think of somewhere-"
"Wait! There's this hotel I saw in Empire City! Maybe there, it's really fancy and there's like a penthouse styled room on the top floor!"
Peridot said with awe, I giggled at her.
"That sounds lovely"
I smile at her and she smiles back, I go to close the gap.
"Hey, am I interrupting something? We need to leave!"
Me and Peridot back away from each other and look up at him. I glare daggers at him.
"N-no, we should head back!"
Peridot says blushing, I get pissed at her brother but, other then that he's not so bad.
Peridot POV
We arrive back at the apartment, worn out. I start making some tea, god sake Pearl got me into making it and now I can't stop! I made the tea and handed it out.
"Here I'm gonna go to the loo so I'll be back!"
He walks off.
"Okay!"
I reply. I sat beside Lapis and snuggled against her, I kissed her cheek making her giggle. Her giggles are so cute, I love hearing them. I smile at her.
"Hey Peridork!"
I groan and roll my eyes.
"WHAT!?"
I shout back.
"The toilet is blocked when I came in can you check it out!?"
"UGH!!"
I get up and walk in, I had a hunch that something was gonna happen, I don't know why? I can trust my brother right?
I walk into the bathroom and check the toilet.
"You doofus there isn't a blockage!"
I yelled at him. I then heard the door lock behind me. I quickly run up and start banging on it.
"Hey WHAT THE FUCK DANIEL!!"
I then heard him laugh a bit and walk off, I continue banging at the door.
Lapis POV
Her brother walks back in the room.
"Hey Daniel, where's Peri?"
He smirks at me and walks closer to me. I stand up and back away.
"Daniel? Where's peri!?"
He laughs.
"Oh she'll be gone for a bit!"
He grabs my wrists and pins them to the wall, I wince at the pain and look back at him.
"I get to enjoy this for a bit!"
He licks his lips.
"WHERE THE FUCK IS PERIDOT!?!?"
I cry out at him.
"Where is she? Oh she's in the bathroom, fixing the 'blocked toilet'"
I glare at him.
"Leave me go! YOU FUCKING JERK!!"
I struggle to break free but it was no use. He caressed my cheek, I move my head slightly away from his hand. He then forced a kiss, it was rough, it felt familiar. I then remember who it felt like.
Flashback
"I'm gonna get to enjoy you for awhile!"
Jasper laughed, she pinned me to the bed and I struggle for get free but it was no use. I'm done for.
Flashback Over
I start to breath heavy, my mind was about to go crazy from panic. I started shaking. He dragged me roughly to the couch and started licking me.
"GET OFF ME!!"
I screech, tears falling down my face.
"Now why would I princess?"
I start to sob.
"PLEASE LEAVE ME GO!!"
I cry.
Peridot POV
I keep banging on the door, but it was no use. I fall on to my knees. I then jolt up to some cries.
"Get off me!"
I heard.
"Please leave me go!"
I started to tear up. I knew it was Lapis. I stood up again and tried to break the door down, I banged so hard. But it would t budge. I bawl into my hands.
"PERIDOT!!"
I jump at the sudden screech. Oh I'm angry now, HES FUCKING DEAD!!
"YOU BASTARD DANIEL!!"
I quickly get to the other side of the bathroom and charge for the door. I went straight through it and hit off the other wall, I quickly fix myself and run to the living room. The sight broke my heart.
Lapis was pinned to the couch. Tear stained, her pupils were tiny and her eyes were wide open. I could hear her heavy breaths, her PTSD must've kicked in. Then I saw my brother on top of her, smiling, had her pinned down and her top ripped off her.
"DANIEL!!"
They both looked at me, I had tears in my eyes.
"DANIEL STAT AWAY FROM US! NEVER COME BACK!!"
"Peridot I-"
"SHUT IT!!"
He stomps out of the apartment. I sigh in relief, I then realise Lapis is having a meltdown so I run over and hug her.
"Lapis hush now, he's gone....I...it's..it's okay now.."
I choke on my words, tears fall from my eyes. Her heavy breaths soon calm and her breath is back to normal. I felt her hand on my cheek, she looks up at me and I look down at her. She then closes the gap between us and it felt like the first time we kissed. It felt like fireworks, it sparked in us.
"Lapis I'm-"
"Shush Peri, it's not your fault, now let's get me a top.."
She says, trying to stand but wobbles a bit.
"Here Lapis, stay here, I'll get a top for you"
I kiss her forehead and grabbed her a top.
We spent the rest of the night on the couch but it felt nice!

( I was contemplating whether to add this chapter or not but then I was like....content so I did it!)
