Chapter Four- Scared of Girls?

-Your POV-
The next day, you were at school again by 7:30.
"Hey," Sam said, coming from the office.
"Oh hey," I replied.
"Apparently there's a field trip to a waterfall or something in 1 week ," Sam said, "Do you think you can make it?"
"Uhh.. Hmm I'm not 100% sure.. I might stay home and study."
"Oh how fucking great. Where am I going to go then?" I thought.

"You should come Y/N.. Field trips are really fun!"
"Ahaha no I really shouldn't. It wouldn't make a difference if I go or not anyway," I answered.
A frown formed on Sam's face.
"Oh damn it. I made the situation too sad. That wasn't intentional."
"Hahaha I'm just kidding! I just don't know if I want to go.. I'm not really an outdoor person," I said, trying to cover up and make the situation less awkward.

"Oh.. Well you should really consider," he said smiling again.
I smiled back.
"Oh, right.. I forgot to bring the class forms for today! Wanna come?" Sam asked.
"Haha, I would but I'm way too tired. I might just take a nap till class starts," I said shaking my head.
"Okay then. See ya!"

I lay my head onto my desk.
I was so tired because I hardly got 6 hours sleep.
I closed my eyes and fell fast asleep.

-Jungkook's POV-
Since I always go to practice dances and songs early in the morning, I woke up at 4:30am out of habit.
"You're awake already? You could sleep more, ya know? Your school starts at 9," Jimin said walking in, drying his hair from a morning shower.
"I know.. I tried to sleep a few more hours but I really can't.. haha," I answered.
"Well then get ready and go early," Jimin said.
"Yeah, I probably should."

By 5:55am, I was all ready to go to school. All the other members were already awake and were getting ready for their schedule.
"Jungkook, manager hyung said he can come now to pick you up if you want," Rapmon said, holding a phone in his hand.
"Hmm it's a bit early.. Can he come at 8 instead?" I asked.
"Unfortunately not. Jhope and Jimin have a schedule today at 7:30 so he'll be gone by then.." Rapmon answered.
"Okay then- now will be fine!" I said.

I got my stuff ready and waited at the couch for manager hyung to call me.
By 6:34am, I got the call and I was in the car on the way to school.
"Jungkook you'll have to leave school early next week for a schedule. I'll come at 1:25pm tomorrow so be ready for my call," hyung said.
"Okay sure," I answered.

We arrived at school and I got off saying bye to my manager.
"I bet no one is here at this time! Maybe I'll be alone for once at this school," I thought.

When I arrived to my classroom, I opened the door and walked in.
I realised that Y/N was in her desk, fast asleep.
When I looked at the watch, I saw it was 7:50am.
I walked up to her desk and looked at her small, sleeping face. Looking at it made a small smile creep up to my face. I was just about to crouch down when I heard the door opening and Sam, one of the classmates, walking in.

He lifted an eyebrow at me and said, "Um hey.. What are you doing?"
"Oh, I was just seeing who was here," I said trying to think of an excuse for why I was smiling at Y/N fast asleep because even I, myself didn't quite know.
"Oh... Um, well.. You're really early actually. Usually it's only Y/N that's here other than me at this time.
"Woah.. Well maybe I should come early more often to keep you company?" I said laughing.
Sam laughed.

I walked to my seat and put down my bag onto the chair.
"I'm just gonna pop into the classroom nearby to check on a mate.." Sam said, "You can just rest, do whatever.."
"Okay thanks," I said smiling.

Sam walked out and it was Y/N and me again. I decided to focus on my work instead of staring at Y/N again.
I opened my English textbook and tried to complete the questions.

I got up to go outside for a walk when Amanda walked in with 3 other girls- Rosa, Maria and Mina.
"Oh my god, Jungkook! You were already here?! If I knew you come early, I would've come to keep you company!" Amanda squealed.
"Oh no it's fine... I already had some company."

The four girls turned and saw Y/N sleeping.
"Pahahaha Jungkook! Y/N isn't good company! What're you even saying!" Rosa laughed.
"Huh?" I said lifting an eyebrow.
"Shut up Rosa. We don't want to bring that shit up again," Maria said with a stern face, glancing at Mina.
Mina had a serious face on too.
"Yeah, yeah whatever!" Rosa replied.

"Um girls? You should go to your seats now.. You're standing around and looking messy," Amanda said.
The other girls rolled their eyes and walked to their desks talking amongst themselves.

Amanda talked on and on about things I didn't care about. This was one of the reasons I didn't take much care in girls.
The other members liked girls- a lot. They talked about them a lot and met up with a lot. Me, on the other hand, found myself avoiding them.
No- I'm not fucking gay. I'm just.. scared I guess..?

I tried my best to act interested in Amanda's talking but I couldn't stand it.
"Um Amanda. I'm sorry but I need to go somewhere right now," I said with a fake apologetic frown.
"Oh! It's okay, I can come with you and tell you the rest!" Amanda said.
"Umm sorry.. I have to go somewhere privately. But you can tell me in class," I said nervously laughing.
"Ugh fine!" she replied.

Phew..
I walked out of the classroom before there was a bigger crowd to walk around the school.
This was probably going to be my only chance to walk around since at lunch, there's always a huge crowd.
I walked to the back of the school and saw the running pitch and oval.

Thump!
As I was walking back towards the classrooms, I heard a loud thumping near the sheds.
"Shut the fuck up you idiot!" a familiar voice said.
"But Y/N-"
"Don't even talk about her," the voice said as I heard someone getting punched.
I walked to the area and came face to face with Sam and a boy I've never seen.
"Sam?" I said, trying to make up of the situation.
"Oh.. Jungkook!" Sam said, surprised.

"Um is everything okay?" I said confused.
"Um yeah, we should go to class," Sam said walking away from the other boy and leading me to class.
I stopped Sam as we were just about to enter the building.

"I heard you say Y/N.. Is everything okay?" I asked.
"Yeah.. It's just.. that jerk was badmouthing Y/N.. She's my friend- I had to do something," Sam replied.
"Oh right.." I said, relieved it wasn't anything too serious.
"Um I gotta go to the office.." Sam said.
"I'll see you in class then," I said walking back inside.

Sam seemed like a really good friend.
