Chapter Twenty Eight- Full Study Room

-Jungkook's POV-
Lunch ended already and like expected, Y/N wasn't at class.
This was what always happened between Y/N and me..
We got close.. then distant by a reason I never knew of.

"Jungkook.. I'm sorry," Amanda said breaking the silence which had taken place between us since our chat.
"It's fine," I replied.
Even though I hated Amanda, I didn't want to have any enemies in school.

Firstly, it wasn't good for my career and secondly because I didn't want to deal with her.

About thirty minutes into the lesson, Sam came in late.
"Sorry Miss," he said as he sat down, "I had to take care of something in the office."
Even though nothing further was said, I knew it was about Y/N.

If anyone knew something about Y/N, it was Sam.
Unusually, when everyone else was bullying Y/N, Sam alone supported her from behind.

When the lesson ended, I walked up to Sam.
"Can I talk to you?" I asked.
"Uhh yeah?" he replied.

We walked outside and I started talking straight away.
"What happened with Y/N?" I asked worried.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"Where is she? Why wasn't she in class?"

Sam looked annoyed.
"Jungkook. I'm not making assumptions but I think you should leave Y/N alone."
"What..?" I replied.
I didn't expect this to be Sam's response.

"Yeah.. Look I'm sorry mate. It's just obvious- you're going to listen to everyone else and believe false shit. Leaving her alone will be better for the both of you."
Without further explanation, Sam left leaving me puzzled and confused.

I didn't understand what was going on.
Even if I was going to quit on Y/N and my friendship, I wanted to know why.
I didn't want to just quit without knowing what was going on.
But no one was going to help me.

I wanted to see Y/N.
Weirdly, even though meeting Y/N truthfully brought many negative impacts to my life, I wanted to see her more.

When school ended I was determined that I would find out about Y/N at the study room.
Since the day was Thursday, I was free to study.

I arrived at the study room at 6pm and all my hopes of "finding out about Y/N" were crashed when I heard the crowd inside the study room.

I walked inside and saw the amount of people who were there sitting at desks, chatting.
But amongst that crowd, it was evident that Y/N wasn't there.

"Oh Jungkook! Come in!" Amanda squealed, linking arms with me and dragging me inside.
No words were escaping my mouth as the situation sank in.

I wasn't going to have an opportunity to see Y/N anymore.
Amanda sat me down close to her little group of friends.
There, Mina stared at me. She seemed uncomfortable with me being there.

"Jungkook? Do you want to get a snack!?" Amanda asked.
"N-"
"I'll buy them," Mina offered, standing.
"Oh really? Thanks!" Amanda squealed.
"I can go with you," I said.

I wanted to find out about Y/N more and currently, Mina was the only way.
"Jungkook but-"
"Amanda, we'll be back," I said standing and walking out with Mina.

"Jungkook.. Is this about Y/N?" Mina asked breaking the silence.
"Uhh yeah," I replied.
"I just gotta tell you it's best to just not interfere.. Staying away from Y/N is the best id-"
"You too?" I blurted feeling annoyed, "What did Y/N do that's so bad that everyone hates her? Are you sure you're not the problem?"

I couldn't stand listening to more people talk shit.
"I-"
"Can anyone not stand one second without having to go on about how bad Y/N is?"
"Jungkook. You don't even know what happened. I'm trying to help!"
"What happened then?! No one tells me yet they tell me to stay away! Why!?"

"She faked a rape! She pretended someone raped her okay!" Mina shouted making me stop dead in my tracks.
"Wh-what?"
"No ones telling you for a good reason. There I told you!"

I couldn't believe what Mina was telling me. And I didn't want to.
