-Your POV-
I arrived home and creeped inside like everyday.
My room was really close to the back door, which was where I always creeped into so I never really got caught.
Even though I've been out till 12 everyday for nearly two years, my parents didn't realise. My dad always came home late from work. And went to bed as soon as he arrived. My mum also worked till late and slept as soon as she arrived home.
My family changed last year.
I always mention the 'incident' that happened last year because it changed everything. My family's relationship..
We weren't like a family anymore..
I feel like this is because of me.
Because of me, my dad lost his office job, making him have to work till late everyday at a factory earning not even half of his old salary. My mum, who used to stay home and look after me also works now because my dad can't provide enough for us.
I lay on my bed and started to cry.
"Y/N.. Stop crying. Get over it- it happened last year," I told myself.
That night, like nearly every other night, I fell asleep crying. The next morning, I woke up early and got out of the house eating the breakfast my mum had made.
My parents were both out again and the house was empty.I hate empty houses and I hated being alone. That's kind of stupid when I spend pretty much everyday alone now.
That's the thing- even though the 700 other students are around me, and I'm spending hours with them, I knew I was alone.I sighed, and headed out the door, locking the door.
Ready to go to school again.I arrived at the classroom and saw Sam on his phone sitting at his new spot- next to mine.
"Hey," he said, still looking at his phone.
"Oh hey.." I answered.
Having to sit next to Sam made me have to spend a lot more time than wanted with him.
He was nice but after something that happened- yes the 'incident', I didn't want to get close and attached to anyone. Then, someone came into the classroom.
This was new- no one ever came until 8. And according to the clock on the wall, it was only 7:20."Hey," a familiar voice said.
I looked up and saw Jungkook walking in.
"Oh hey," Sam replied.
Jungkook looked at me, expecting to hear a hello from me.
"Um hey.." I said feeling pressured.Ever since Jungkook came, I've been having to push myself from my comfort zone.
Sam- someone that I'd only have small conversations with in the morning, became someone I had to talk to for most of the school time.
That was thanks to Jungkook, sitting with Amanda.Jungkook sat down and put on his hoodie, closing his eyes to take a nap.
For some reason, it was awkward with him for me. Probably because he used the study room like me..Nothing much happened for the rest of the day.
Like always, I went to the study room, again.
And Jungkook, like always came late to the room.
"Hey," he said walking to his desk.
"Hi," I replied, putting on earphones.
I didn't want to be disturbed.I was just about to put on my right earphone into my ear when a hand held onto my wrist, preventing me from doing so.
I lifted your eyebrow at Jungkook."Dude.. We've been using this room together for nearly a week now and you haven't spoken to me once!" he said smiling.
"I always reply hi when you come," I said, knowing how ridiculous I sounded.
"Fine then. At least get rid of the earphones then," he said.
"Why? That makes no difference," I replied.
Jungkook laughed.
"Shut up, I'm going to make you talk to me at some point," he said smiling.
I smiled.
I hadn't had this type of company in a long time and I was starting to enjoy it.
