Chapter Thirteen- Back At School

-Your POV-
I looked at my watch to check the time and realised that it was nearly 12pm.
"We still have a few hours before we get to school," I told Jungkook.
"Hmm then what do you want to do?" he asked, smiling.
"I don't know.. If you want you can go home," I said.
I knew this was tiring for Jungkook and I didn't want to keep him out when he was tired and.. a kpop star.

"What do you mean!? This is my only chance to go out like a normal person! I'm dragging you around even if you're tired," he said, shaking his head.
I laughed, relieved and said, "Okay."

All of a sudden, Jungkook's face brightened up and he held my wrist, dragging me to an unknown direction.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"Let's go to... karaoke!" he said pointing at the sign.
I laughed at how excited he was.
"No! I suck at singing," I said trying to escape his grip but he just aeygyoed and dragged me to the elevator.

Soon we were at level 3 and Jungkook had asked for one hour at a room.
"Shouldn't you two be at school?" the man asked.
"We missed our bus to a field trip so we're just hanging out," Jungkook said smiling.
The man shook his head smiling, "Oh geez, kids these days make me laugh!"

He led you to Room 5 and Jungkook set up for karaoke.
"Okay, let's sing BTS songs!" he said, holding the remote.
I laughed.
"Self obsessed?" I said laughing.
"No- it's called group obsessed," he answered.

We ended up singing just bts songs and the hour ended.
Our throats were itchy from the high notes and by the time we went and bought drinks and was all good, it was nearly 3pm.

"Do you want to go to school now?" I asked.
"What why? It's only 3- the study room opens at 5," Jungkook replied.
"Yeah, but we should go to Mrs Rivers and ask her what we should do," I replied, "Besides, no one told us about this field trip."t

"Oh okay then. Which bus is it?" Jungkook asked.
"We should probably ride a taxi," Idt replied, making Jungkook look confused.
"It's going to be 3 and people might  crrecognise you."
"Oh true! Thanks," he said, going to catch a taxi.

-Jungkook's POV-
During the taxi ride, we talked about a lot of things.
Y/N was talking to me a lot more lately and I feel like we're friends.

But something does feel a bit strange.
Usually when people are this close, we know a lot more about each other.
I feel like there's still so much I don't know about Y/N..
I honestly do not know what this feeling is..

Soon we arrived at school and I paid for the fees.
"What! No! I'll pay half!" Y/N argued as I walked out of the taxi.
"No it's fine!" I laughed.
"No take it!" Y/N said, taking out the money.
"Y/N it wasn't that expensive. You can buy me snacks later or something," I said avoiding the money.
"I don't want to do that! Just take it!"

Y/N was holding onto my arm trying to get me to take the money when we came face to face with Amanda and Mina.
Instantly, Y/N stepped far from me, making me confused.
I realised Mina and Amanda death staring Y/N like they were disgusted.
"Um I'm gonna go to Mrs Rivers," Y/N said looking down.
Amanda scowled at her as she left.

Then she changed her expression to a fake smile.
"Jungkook! What were you doing with Y/N!? And why weren't you here today for the field trip?" Amanda asked friendly.
"Oh I didn't know about it," I replied, "Look, I have to go Mrs Rivers too. I'll see you tomorrow."
I walked off, escaping Amanda and Mina.

-Your POV-
What I was trying to avoid had happened- someone saw Jungkook and me being friendly towards each other.
This was bad. Not only was it going to affect Jungkook, Amanda definitely wasn't going to let me be.

I walked to the office, looking for Mrs Rivers. I entered the office and found Mrs Rivers at her desk.
I walked up to her desk and saw Jungkook running in, standing next to me.
Mrs Rivers looked around up, surprised.

"Y/N? Jungkook, what are you guys doing here? And why weren't you present for the field trip!?" she asked.
"Oh we didn't know about it. We were both away and nobody told us there was a field trip," Jungkook answered.
"Oh no- I'm so sorry I totally forgot about it!" Mrs Rivers replied, looking apologetic.
"I'll get you guys the notes you need. I'm so sorry."

We told her it was okay and exited the office.
"Y/N. Where are you going to go now?" Jungkook asked when we were both out of the building.
"Oh I just wait around.." I replied.
"I'm really sorry but I need to go to the studios before I go to the study room," Jungkook said.
"Why are you sorry?" I asked.
"Um.. because I'm leaving you alone?" he replied.
"Don't worry about it. You should go quickly," you said smiling.

It felt weird- to have someone actually care like that.
