Chapter Thirty Three- Mina & Sam

-Your POV-
"I was going to leave now- you can use the room," I said starting to pack up.
"No! I came to talk to you.." she replied making me stop.
"I don't really want to talk-"
"Is everything Jungkook said true?" Mina asked, concern in her eyes.

"I don't know what you're referring to," I responded coldly.
"Is it true Min actually raped you?" she asked making my throat hitch.
"Why should I tell you anything if all you're going to do is ignore me?" I said, anger in my voice.

"I'm pretty sure I've been trying to tell you my story for ages now but each time you ignored me. So why now are you deciding to listen to me?" I said angrily.

"Because.. because I regret everything I did," Mina replied quietly.
"Because everyday I felt like a horrible human and wanted to turn back and help but the more seconds that passed and the further I got into the situation, it got harder. Because I was carried away by the crowd and was the shittiest friend possible.." Mina cried.

"I'm sorry for being who I am.. I'm sorry for not supporting you but mostly I'm sorry it took me this long for me to realise and that I needed someone to take your side before me realising.."
"I want to be alone," I answered.

This was what I had been longing for Mina to say for the longest time.
I wanted her back as my friend no matter what but now, after finally hearing it, it made my heart ache in a way it never did before.

"I'll leave my number on this desk.. Can you please call me when you want to?" she asked.
I didn't reply and Mina walked away.

As soon as she left uncontrollable tears escaped my eyes.

-Jungkook's POV-
"I need you to tell me everything you know," I said looking at Sam's face that shone only by the street lamp a few metres away.

"I'm pretty sure I already told you Jungkook," Sam replied.
"Yes but why do I feel there's something you know that everyone else doesn't?" I replied.
"What?"

"Why didn't you support and stand up for Y/N when the incident happened. You knew all the facts yet didn't step up. Why?" I asked.
Sam sat there not knowing what to reply.

He stayed silent.
"How come Y/N didn't know you knew all this? How did you know all the facts when Y/N never really had a chance to publicly state her facts?" I asked again.

"Jungkook.. I-"
"Tell me everything Sam or I can take this to law too."

Sam hesitated and looked me in the eyes.
"I.." he stuttered.

He closed his eyes and seemed to be panicking as I waited besides him.
"Okay.. I'll tell you," he finally said, opening his eyes, "But you can't tell anyone that I'm the one who told you."
