Chapter Twenty Four- The CEO

-Your POV-
It was a Monday afternoon and I was at the study room when the door opened.
I turned around surprised, expecting Jungkook to be there when I saw an older man walking inside.

"I believe you're Y/N L/N?" he asked as he sat down at a seat nearby.
"Uhh.. yeah," I replied feeling a little scared inside for who this man was.

Suddenly he took out a business card and placed it on my table.
"I'm Bang Shi Hyuk- CEO of BigHit," he said with a serious face.
I felt nervous inside. I knew this had to be about Jungkook.

"Nice to meet you.." I said nervously.
"I believe you and Jungkook are very close.." he said looking at me.
I nodded slightly not knowing how to react.
"Y/N I hope you understand when I say this but.. I need you and Jungkook to.. keep some space from each other."

I knew that the CEO was telling me in a nicer tone to fuck off from Jungkook.
"Y/N.. I know how stubborn Jungkook can get. I don't mean to change someone's whole life for my advantage but I would truly appreciate it if you could.. change schools."

I couldn't stop myself from being surprised.
"I.. uh.. I don't know if that's.."
The CEO nodded.
"I understand.. but.. please consider," he said handing me a pamphlet, "I'll give you a months to decide.. I understand this may be hard."
With that, he smiled and left me there.

I sat there thinking.
I hated how complicating this situation was getting.
This offer the CEO was giving me was not at all bad for me but.. something was stopping me.
I didn't know what.

-Jungkook's POV-
It was Monday and I hadn't seen Y/N since I saw her at her house.
After seeing how many people kept coming early I decided to go at 8:30- exactly when the lessons start.

I entered the classroom 5 minutes before 8:30 and realised Y/N was away.
This made me worried as the only times she was ever away was when bad things or important things were happening.

Like expected, Y/N didn't come to school for the whole day.
The school day had ended and I needed to go to my schedule pretty quickly.
With Y/N in the back of my head, manager hyung took me to the studio.

-Your POV-
When I called the CEO about moving, he asked me to come to his office.
After a conversation, I went home and it was too late to go to school.
So I decided to spend the whole day rethinking my choice of staying or moving.

It was 7:30pm and I decided to call my mum. I didn't like speaking to her often but I knew I had to talk to her about it.

"Hello?" I heard my mum say.
Her voice sounded weary and sad.
I remembered my grandma.
"Mum.. I'm so sorry for asking about this now but I have no time," I said.
"What is it?" my mum asked

"Umm.. I've been offered a spot at a new school and I think.. I think I like that place better.." I explained.
"What do you mean!?" my mum asked surprised by what I was saying.
"It's like a boarding school. They have rooms there and I was wondering if you would let me go.."
"Y/N.. You know that we have no mon-"
"No charge! It got offered to me for free," I said.
My mum sighed.
"Y/N.. As you know now is not a good time.. I'll just let you decide."

My mum hung up after that and I was sitting there trying to think of what to do.
