Chapter Twenty Two- Fall For It

-Your POV-
"Why? Are you scared of being alone?" I said pouting to make fun of him.
"Y/N I'm being nice!" Jungkook replied.
I laughed, "Sure- I'll stay since you're scared."
Jungkook sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Y/N I just want to tell you that I don't blame you for trying to avoid me. I understand," Jungkook said.

I felt bad. Jungkook had obviously been thinking about this for a while.
"Jungkook I'm not avoiding you because I hate you," I said, "Well I do but that's not really the reason."
"Well then tell me the reason," Jungkook said genuinely.
"It's just.. I don't like crowds. You know that!" I lied, chuckling.

Jungkook seemed to have fallen for it.

-Jungkook's POV-
I didn't fall for it.
Y/N was obviously lying and I wanted to find out why she was hiding the reason so much but I also wanted to give her space.

If it was just the fact she hated crowds, she wouldn't have acted the way she did.

"Oh my god!" Y/N said, surprising me.
"What?" I asked.
Y/N suddenly put on an apologetic face.
"I forgot that I have to get notes for an assessment today! I'm so sorry but I should go now," she said.
"I can call my manager right now," I said taking out my phone.
"No no! It's fine- I can go quickly," Y/N said trying to run out.

I grabbed onto her wrist.
"He'll be here in like 5 minutes. It's only 7:20 right now," I said letting go.
She sighed, "Are you sure?"
"I'm 'scared' remember?" I laughed.

-Your POV-
Five minutes later, Jungkook's manager came to pick us up.
"Hey," he said as I walked inside.
"Hi," I replied.
"Thank you so much for letting Jungkook stay here tonight! I really appreciate your kindness." he said starting the engine.
"Hyung stop being embarrassing," Jungkook said as he buckled his seatbelt.

Thanks to the fact that my house was very close to our school, we arrived quickly.
"Thank you so much," I said as I got out of the car.
"No it's okay! Thanks for being Jungkook's friend!" the manager said laughing.
"Shut up hyung! Bye Y/N!" Jungkook said closing the door.
"Bye.." I replied.

I turned around to walk to class when I bumped into someone...

-Jungkook's POV-
"Isn't she nice?" I said smiling.
"Jungkook.. Nothing happened last night.. right?" my manager asked as we drove off.
"Woah! No it's fine. She's too innocent," I laughed.
"You know that the CEO won't be too happy..." he said frowning.
"Ugh I don't want to think about him.." I replied closing my eyes.

-Your POV-
I couldn't believe who I had bumped into.
"Was that.. Jungkook?" the girl who I couldn't trust said looking down.
"No," I replied trying to walk away.

I had bumped into Mina- my ex best friend who left me for Amanda and joined in on bullying me when things were hard for me.

"Y/N-"
"Yeah it fucking was. Go ahead and tell your fucking Amanda," I said raising my voice.

Mina was a bitch.
When she was next to Amanda and her shield, she pretended to be confident but when she was alone, she was too scared to do anything to me.

"Didn't you hear Amanda's warning abou-"
"What's this?" Amanda said as she smirked and walked over to us.
I felt like crying.
All I wanted to do was walk to class and not have to deal with this.

"Y/N.. You're early today.." Amanda said pretending to be nice to me.
"I need to go right now," I said, trying to get to the classroom my assessment notes would be at.
"What is it Mina?" Amanda said loudly for me to stop, "What did that ugly bitch do this time?"

I was waiting.
Expecting Mina to tell Amanda everything.
"Nothing. I was just saying hi," I heard Mina say.
"Oh! That's nice of you Mina! Volunteer work  is definitely good for your reputation!"

I just swallowed back my tears and went to class trying to ignore what they were saying.
