Chapter Twenty One- Embrace

-Jungkook's POV-
I was surprised with Y/N's answer on why she didn't like being home alone.
It made me feel so sad for her and sympathetic.

Looking into her eyes, I said, "If anything happens you can just call me! Even if you feel slightly un-"

Suddenly Y/N tugged me into a warm hug as she caught me off guard.
"Stop worrying so much about me.. You need caring too."

Y/N's hug was so warm it felt like all my worries were being melted away.
No one ever cared for me like this and I instantly felt a lot better.

After a while, I slowly put my arms around her and hugged her back.

"Your CEO's a bit of a jerk in my opinion," Y/N said, making me smile.
"I agree," I replied.
Y/N laughed.

A bit later Y/N interrupted the silence that had taken place again.
"Jungkook if you don't let me go I might really just fall asleep here," Y/N warned laughing and letting go of me.

My body instantly wanted to be in her embrace again.
"Can you just stay like this with me for tonight?" I asked, closing my eyes.
I hadn't felt someone hug me like this since my mum did a few years ago before me moving out.
I felt Y/N nod slightly and she put her arms back around me as I leaned my head onto her shoulder.

Soon, I had fallen asleep in Y/N's arms.

-Your POV-
I hadn't had anyone hug me like this in such a long time and honestly, it was a feeling I was missing all this time.

"Jungkook probably has hugs like this all the time," I thought.
Even though I knew Jungkook didn't think much of this situation, it was very important to me.

Soon, with the warmth of Jungkook and comfort, I fell right asleep.

When I woke up the next morning, I remembered what Jungkook and I did the previous night and instantly felt embarrassed/regret.
I soon realised that Jungkook wasn't sleeping on the bed anymore.
Suddenly I heard Jungkook calling someone right outside my room.

"No I've come to a friend's house," I heard him say.
"No- she's my friend. I don't care about damn money."
I stood there next to my door, listening to what was being said.

"Yeah, she let me sleep at her house. Hyung just tell the CEO that I'm allowed to make friends outside of the company and I want a life."
With that, the call seemed to have ended.

I ran to the bed and lied down, pretending to sleep but slipped and fell on the floor.
Jungkook walked in and started laughing.
"What the fuck are you doing!?" he laughed, helping me up.
"Uhh.. I just woke up and I think I fell off the bed," I answered as an excuse.

Embarrassed, I looked at the floor and brushed my butt.
"Y/N I need to go to the studio today. Do you mind if I stay here a little after you leave for my manager to come pick me up?" Jungkook asked.
"Aren't you.. going to school?" I wondered.
"Oh I need to skip school today.." Jungkook replied.
"Oh.. then sure!" I said smiling.

Jungkook insisted he made breakfast so while he was busy in the kitchen, I started getting ready for school.

When I was all ready I walked to the dining table to see a table full of food.
I felt weird as I sat down.
"You're welcome," Jungkook smirked.
"Thanks.." I replied not knowing how to react.

"Why? Do you not like the food I made?" Jungkook asked, instantly seeing my reaction.
"No.. no way. It's just I never eat like this in the morning.." I replied.
Jungkook laughed.
"Don't get too used to this. You'll get fat!"

I picked up my spoon and ate the soup Jungkook had made.
"This is a bit suspicious.. You don't seem like someone who can cook," I said raising an eyebrow.
"Are you stereotyping me into a stuck up celebrity?" he asked laughing.
"Hmm.." I said eating the food.
"It's cause I used to cook," Jungkook said, "When I was a trainee.."
"Oh true!" I laughed.

I ate all the food and was ready to go to school.
"Y/N.." Jungkook said, "Do you have to go early?"
"Huh?" I replied.
"School starts at like 8:30 and you always go at 7 something."
"Oh that's because.. I don't want to be home alone in the morning," I replied.

Jungkook instantly frowned.
"Then stay here today," he said.
I looked him in the face wondering what he was saying.

"I'm here remember? I'll take you to school."
