Chapter Eleven- Field Trip

-Your POV-
After surviving a lonely week, the next week came after the weekends.
It was 7:30 when I arrived at school.
Unlike the previous week, no one was early- not even Sam.
That was strange as Sam was always early to school.

Then, I heard a door open as I was walking to my desk.
Expecting Sam, I turned around smiling.
But no- it was Jungkook.

"You look happy to see me," he said laughing.
"No- I thought you were Sam."
"Ahaha of course," with that he sat down at his desk.

"Where is everyone?" he asked after he was ready to start the lesson.
"Um.. I don't know," I answered, confused.

There was an awkward silence so i stood up.
Jungkook looked up at me, confused.
"Um, I'm just going to walk around," I said, "I'll be back when the lesson starts."
"What? You're going to just leave me here?" he said, "I'm coming with you."
"No!" I shouted, scared he'll be seen with me.
Jungkook looked confused and surprised.
"Oh um- I'm uh going to the toilet," I answered, making up an excuse.
"Oh.. okay," Jungkook said, smiling.

I sighed, closed the door to the classroom and walked around.
"Y/N? What're you doing here at this time!?" Mr Andrews said surprised.
"Um.. I always come at this time?" I answered, confused as I always went to the office and saw Mr Andrews around.
"Oh yes but.. today is the field trip for your grade! You should've gone ages ago," he answered.
"What!?"

-Jungkook's POV-
I was sitting, listening to the songs on my phone when Y/N ran in.
I took off my earphones and smiled.

"Jungkook.. Did you know about the field trip today?" she asked.
"What field trip?" I answered, confused.
Y/N looked really worried.
"Apparently there was a field trip for our assessment today.." she said looking down.

"Y/N.. Don't worry so much- the teacher will give us notes for the assessment!" I assured her.
"No.. its not that.." she said.
"We can just go home then! It's a good thing!" I said as I saw her face turn more worried.
"Are you.. going home?" she asked me.
"Uhh yeah..?" I replied, confused.

She sighed and went to her desk.
I went up to her and looked her in the eyes.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing.." she mumbled.
"Y/N.. you can just tell me," I said.

She looked up.
"I- I can't go home right now," she said as I raised an eyebrow.
"Is it your parents? Are they.. home?" I asked, not knowing what she meant.
"No.. they're at work.. If I go.. I'll be home.. all alone," she said, tears in her eyes.

I was surprised.
I saw a tear trickle down.
"Are you okay!?" I said, surprised.
"Yeah.. I'm fine.." she said packing up.

"Y/N... Can I come to your house?"
