I was working on homework and listening to Pandora (which is how so many stories come to me lol) and this song above came on and omg it hit me like a brick wall. So, sorry for the sad stories back to back but it was just so so so good and I had so much inspiration. I stopped working on my homework and immediately began writing. I really really enjoyed writing this. Like so much haha I haven't felt this way while writing a story in a long time, but I enjoyed it so very much. ( dont get me wrong, I love writing all my stories, but this one really was something special to my heart for some odd reason)
I cried a couple of times while writing it haha A few times I had to stop just to cry it out. I was engaged to a guy that I loved so very much and he was everything to me- just like this song- he was perfect at first, then changed so much after the engagement. I think that's the reason it was so emotional for me? I really felt this song on an emotional level, especially the the chorus. But I really love this story and I really really really strongly recommend you listen to the song while you read or before you read. Usually I don't because it isn't that big of a deal but this time it I really do.
It'll really get you to feel the readers mind and boy does it hurt to read after that (for me anyway).
ANYWAY!
I do so hope you like it! If you do comment and let me know or vote it!
Thank you so very much for all the support~
Enjoy~

Opening the door for her, Rin smiled so brightly that it washed the sun out, making its rays seem dull. "Come on, babe! I can't wait to eat!" He ushered her excitedly when she finally made her way out of the car.
"You're so silly, give me a second, Rin." She joked back as she laughed contently at how cute she thought he was.
Everything was so perfect that day. The weather, the food she had made for the picnic, and even the way he watched her so lovingly. Each detail laid perfectly into place. They were closer than ever, more comfortable than they'd ever been with one another.
Rin was the perfect man. He was everything a woman could dream of, and then some. He held open the doors for her, told her how much he cared for her multiple times a day, loved on her, kissed her, cherished her. Her best friend loved her so perfectly.
Everything was what she had dreamed of.
But that was so long ago...

She stood there staring sorrowfully down at the ice cold food she had prepared hours ago for the anniversary dinner that was planned weeks ago. Yet she stood there alone. He hasn't even called. But, why was she surprised, that's how it had been recently. Rin would ignore her when he didn't feel like dealing with her, especially when he had come home stressed out. She felt guilty for being a burden, but she missed her old husband. The sweet one.
The one who loved her...
"Fucking hell its cold out there." She heard a voice say bitterly, then the door sounded afterward.
Maybe, just maybe he'd be happy to see her? Just this once?
Bouncing hopefully around the corner to meet her husband in the hallway, she welcomed him openly. "Hi darling, I'm so happy you're home! I missed you today~" She stated as her hands knitted together behind her back, eyes closed in a gentle smile. When silence was all that she greeted, the atmosphere grew uncomfortable and she opened her eyes slowly, her smile fading a bit. Her (e/c) were met with narrowed red ones, a confused look on her husband's face. "What is that smell?" Was all he had to reply.
