"Ughhhhh!" Sigaw ko sabay salampak sa sofa.

"Sir, do you want me to cancel all your appointments today?" Sam my ever reliable executive secretary then handed me a cup of black coffee.

"Yes please. Sakit ng ulo ko. Then, yung mga dapat ibigay kay Papa na papers pa forward nalang. Yung mga urgent padala mo dito sa bahay."

"Yes sir." Sam

Sam was about to leave when my Dad suddenly barged in.

"Good morning Sir." Bati ni Sam kay Dad

"Good morning Pa." Wala sa sariling bati ko sa Papa ko.

"What are you doing at this hour Rj? I was thinking na you are in your office but wala akong nadatnang Richard Faulkerson Jr. doon." Papa

"Relax Pa, na oversleep lang ako. Eh nagkainoman lang kagabi kasama nina Kenneth, naglalambing kasi ang mga kumag kaya pinagbigyan ko."

"At nagawa nyo pang maglasing in weekdays eh alam nyong may mga pasok kayo. Baka naman nakaka..." Pa

Di ko na pinatapos pa si Pa.

"Di ko po nakakalimutan ang responsibilidad ko. Don't worry. I know what im doing and this will not affect anything."

"I just wanna make sure everything's fine anak. Sige na get ready... Sam, a cup of coffee please, sumasakit nag ulo ko dito sa boss mo." Dad instructed Sam na mabilis namang sinunod ng isa.

"Get ready? For what?"

"Wear your most beautiful suit, we will have a meeting with a very important person." Papa

"A very important person? Who?"

"You'll know it soon Son." Papa

I got more curious kaya tinanong ko ulit si Papa.

"A new colleague? Business partner? Or the president? Who's the who?"

"Stop asking Richard." Papa

"Then patawagan ang nga pinsan kong mababait, sabihin mo pumunta sila mamayang gabi."

"Another drink time po ba Sir?" Sam

"No, i need to discuss something to them. Tell them to be here by 7 and please tell them not bring anything, just themselves. ok?"

"Copy Sir." Sam

"then, i should prepare now. I can't wait to meet that VIP's."

Tumakbo na ako paakyat ng kwarto bago pa umusok ulit ang ilong ng tatay ko kakahintay sakin. After kong gawinang dapat kong gawin ay bumaba na ako to see my Dad talking to someone on the phone. i just sit down and wait for him to finish his business, Sam even bring me coffee for my hangover.

"do you know who is he talking to now?"

"i don't have any idea sir but may nasabi syang pangalan kanina. A certain Mr. Sotto." Sam

"I haven't heard of that name. Maybe it's a new investor. Please get the car ready, pagkatapos ko dito sa kape aalis na tayo."

Umalis din naman si Sam agad, saka naman dumating si Papa.
