A week after the party...

"Ate, what to do?" My not so little munchkin by the name of Sebastian came running to me.

"I don't know too. What do you want to do?"

"Food?" He asked me innocently

"Im asking for what you want to do, not what you want now, Baste."

"Ehhhh. Food..." he whined

"You're always hungry don't you?"

"I want cake." Sabay pout ng lips nya.

"You want? Ok, go to your room and ask Mimi to change you. We'll go cake hunting."

The lad run fast. I also change my house clothes to a yellow knee-high dress. After putting some powder and my fav Mac Lipstick, i went to Baste's room and check on him.

"Ready?"

"Mimi faster, Ate might leave me!" he said as Nana tried to close his pants.

"Could you please stay still Baste? i cant even close your pants. stop Moving!"

Natawa nalang ako sa dalawa. kung di ba naman sana pinabayaan sa kusina tong makulit na to edi sana hindi sila nahihirapan.

After nyang nagbihis ay nagpaalam na ako ay dumiretso na kami sa baba. Nandoon kasi si Dada sa living room. Nagkakape.

"And saan ang punta nyo?" He asked

"I'll bring my 2nd boyfriend out for a date Da." I said as i kissed him goodbye

"We'll go cake hunting!" Sabat naman ni Baste

"Your spoiling your brother Maria Victoria."

"No im not Da. I just want to spend time with him. Im very busy these past few days and i haven't even play with him so i think a cake will do to catch up with him. Right Boo?" I said and kissed Baste's chubby cheeks

"Let them have their sibling bonding time Vic." Sagot naman ni Nana

"But are you sure you can handle this kid? You should bring someone with you. How about Paolo?" I just smile at Dada.

"Were good Da, beside jan lang kami sa malapit. Were not going anywhere far."

"Ok, ok. Now go bago pa magbago isip ko." He said. I kissed him goodbye as well as Nana. Same with Baste too.

I went to my car and let Baste sit in the shotgun seat before heading to the driver's seat.

"Ready for our date Boyfriend?"

"Yes!"

They drove for a while until they ended in a dog cafe just a little kilometer away from their home. Baste immediately hugged the puppies as he entered the cafe.

"Puppies!!!" he shouted.

Maine just laughed at her brother's antics. She then find a table and ordered something for them to eat.

"Sebastian, time for your cake. Stop playing with them muna." She said

"ok. What did you ordered Ate?"

"just some cakes and choco shake for you. Why? You want more?"

"nope. Thank you!"

Maine is having a good time with Baste when the door opened.

"Oh, Sir, ikaw po pala. Hi Globie!" an employee said

"Nice to see you again Kate. The usual please." a familiar voice said

"noted Sir."

"Thanks!"

Then she heard some footstep coming near them.

"Wow! Big Dog!" Baste shouted.

"Hey, don't do that! Im sorry, my bro... Rj?"

"Mavie?"

The two looked at each other for a while...

"who is he Ate?" Baste asked.

"he's Rj, a friend of mine. Rj, my brother Sebastian."

Rj looked at Mavie before approaching Baste.

"Nice meeting you young man. You can call me Kuya Rj." he said and extended his hands for a handshake

"Nice meeting you too Kuya Rj, please call me Baste." the little boy then gave him a grin. "Have a seat Kuya!"

"Sure!" Rj answered immediately

"y-you w-wanna join us?" aya ni Mavie kay Rj

"of course. Seems like masaya kasama tong si Baste eh."

"you dont need to if you dont want Rj. I know youre busy too." mavie

"actually im not. Im here to let globie play with the other dogs." Sagot naman ni Rj.

Wala naman ng magawa si Mavie kaya hinayaan nalang nya ito. The whole afternoon was spend with her looking at Rj and Baste play with the dogs in the shop as well as serving food for them.

"Bash, we need to go. Mimi already called me." Mavie announced making the two stop

"but i want to play with the puppies Ate." Rj

"You can play next time, besides its late na." Mavie

"your ate is right. Dont worry we'll go back here next time. I'll pick you up for play time." Rj said earning a strange look from Mavie. "what? I just want the kid to have fun."

"did i say something? Have you heard me say a word?" Mavie

"i can understand by the looks of it. Now you two should go before your Mom scold you for being late." Rj said pushing Mavie lightly

"Bye bye Kuya!" Baste said sabay hug and kiss Rj

"Were going, now." Mavie

" No goodbye hug and kiss Ate?"Baste

The two adults looked at each other. Both faces in red, embarred with what the little boy said.

"a beso will do." sabat ni Rj sabay halik sa pisnge at yakap kay Mavie.

"S-see you next time. I-ingat sa drive. Bye." yun lang ang nasabi ni Mavie at hinila na nya palabas si Baste.

Pagdating sa sasakyan:

"Why are your cheeks red Ate? Are you sick?" tanong ni Baste

"no Baste, i'm dying . . . You'll be the death of me!"
