It was nearly three years later when they finally decided it was time to get married.
When they became engaged both had agreed it just wasn't the time, they had just had a baby, and neither wanted to spend all the money required for a wedding, nor did they want to scrimp and have a cheaper wedding.
But now it felt right, Sebastian was nearly three and they had spent the last few years saving so they could have the perfect wedding.
And they had been preparing for the better part of a year, trying to achieve that.
Harry sat in his room, fretting about this and that, still in his bathrobe, hair tied up in a towel, with Louis mother chasing after him, trying to get him to calm down and sit so they could begin his hair.
"Harry listen, it's going to be fine, everything will go as planned, I promise." She says and he sighs, allowing her to steer him into the chair and pull his hair down from its towel. It falls around his shoulders, a wet and tangled mass of curls darkly contrasting against his light coloured robe.
He would be getting married to the love of his life in mere hours, and he was more terrified then he had ever been.
"I'm going to go get Gemma Hun, you stay here" jay says and Harry nods, watching her in the mirror as she retreats from the room. He pulls his hair up into a bun to get it off of his shoulders before relaxing in the chair.
He gets to thinking then. What if he gets to the end of the isle and Louis says no? What if someone objects and ruins he whole thing? What if Louis doesn't even show? He begins to panic, his breath coming hot and fast as he fans his face, looking around feverishly for something to calm him.
He gets up and flees the room.
Louis was talking to Niall (who would be officiating) with Sebastian on his hip, soundly asleep with his head against Louis shoulder, drooling slightly onto the fabric there. It made him thankful he wasn't already in his suit. Gemma hurried up to his with a strained anxious expression on her face and tapped Louis on the shoulder rapidly, crossing her arms and biting her lip.
"Have you seen Harry?" She asks worriedly when he turns around and Louis frowns
"N-no?" He asks concerned hiking Sebastian higher into his arms.
"Well he's missing, your mum went to get me and when we got back he was just gone. We've looked everywhere." She says and Louis' mind begins to wander.
"Did he seen off before you left?" He asks and Gemma nods
"He was fretting jay said, pacing around and nearly sweating through his clothes"
"He probably got nervous and ran off" Louis says "probably" he repeats nervously
He gently shifts Sebastian to Gemma's arms and turns around, spinning in a slight circle.
He sets off through the building, checking every door and closet, behind every tapestry and down every hall.
Louis climbs the stairs two at a time, reaching the roof quickly. He throws open the door and steps out into the crisp fall air.
He finds Harry sitting on the edge of the building, legs dangling over the edge, arms draped over the low rail, head rested on them with his eyes closed.
"You know it's bad luck to see each other on our wedding day" Louis says softly, sitting beside Harry and placing a hand on his back.
"What's wrong love? Do you want to talk about it?" Louis asks when Harry doesn't respond.
"Nerves?" He continues and Harrys eyes flutter open, locking with Louis. Louis smiles gently and pulls Harry sideways so he rested against his side.
