CHAPTER 37

They are Louis and Eleanor, obviously. What kind of date Louis offers to her so that they’re going to a zoo? Probably they want to double date with the animals, I curse in my heart sarcastically.

‘’What?’’ Niall questions the stop of me talking to him.

‘’Nope. I’m fine, I’m just too happy that I’m going to shoot those animals.’’ I speak. I try my best to ruin the image of Louis and Eleanor kissing wildly. Although they’re now going to the ticket booth, the horrible image still lingers firmly on my mind.

‘’Great then.’’ Niall says. ‘’Anyways Louis just said that he’s here, he’s with Eleanor. Should we join them? It would be a great double date.’’

‘’Double date?’’ I choke. ‘’We’re not dating, Niall, and we’re not going to join them.’’

‘’I know, I was just joking about the double date stuffs,’’ He laughs and looks down. ‘’But why don’t we join them?’’

‘’Mm..’’ I try to find a good excuse to Niall’s statement.

‘’Hmm?’’ Niall frowns.

‘’Alright, let’s just join them.’’ I gulp. I know this is a really stupid decision, I’ll just kill myself with jealousy but who cares? I want to know what kind of girl Eleanor is until Louis is falling head over heels in her.

‘’Changed your mind too fast?’’ Niall laughs as he grabs his phone and sticks it to his right ear. I suspect him calling Louis. I only shrug and laugh, ‘’Yeah.’’

‘’I’m calling Louis. I’m gonna ask him where we will meet.’’

‘’Alright.’’ I say. He talks with Louis and not long afterwards we buy two tickets and enter the massive zoo. I can feel my heart pounding real hard; it’s going to be the first time for me interacting directly with Louis after the silenced 6 years. The ‘accident’ a few days ago don’t count.

‘’Do you want some beverages?’’ Niall politely offers. I shake my head and say, ‘’No thanks.’’

‘’Okay, we’ll buy some beverages when you need to.’’ He smiles. Niall is so kind and polite, I feel somehow lucky to know him.

‘’You’re so kind.’’ I remark. He just laughs and he puts his arm around my shoulders, ‘’Ahahaha. You’re nice too.’’

It feels awkward to walk with Niall’s arm on my shoulder, usually Harry will be the one doing this but today I have Niall doing this to me. I don’t mind, as long as we’re just friends I guess nothing will happen.

We finally meet Louis and Eleanor who are looking at the pandas. Pandas just get to remind me of my Biology teacher, who was a big fan of pandas. Or is? I don’t even know about him anymore, it’s been a very long time since I last saw him in the classes.

‘’Bro!’’ Niall calls Louis. Louis laughs and replies Niall, ‘’Hey bro! Hey Luna,’’ Louis says as he notices my existence.

‘’Um, hey Louis.’’ I awkwardly smile. It feels so hard to be relaxed in front of Louis, especially since we haven’t met again for 6 years.

‘’You know her?’’ Eleanor asks Louis. Oh my God, I forget that this Eleanor girl doesn’t know me. I’m afraid she will think of something else. Oh my. Please, no.

‘’Yeah, she was my old mate back in school.’’ Louis briefly explains. Eleanor mouths ‘Oh’ and she lifts her hand out to me, pleading us to shake hands. I accept her hand and she smiles, ‘’Eleanor.’’
