CHAPTER 70

I stop my steps in front of McDonalds. Night time has arrived, the dark sky has hovered all above my head. My feet walk further to the restaurant where Luna and I used to spend our time eating at. Seriously, when will the memories stop haunting me? It’s been driving me crazy for every damn seconds of my life. Never have I felt so driven insane like this; not before I met this Luna Strittle girl.

I eventually order some cheeseburger and an oreo McFlurry. McFlurry has been my thing lately, for its chunky and easy taste. I get my order without being known that I am actually ‘Harry Styles’. The cashier frowns at my outfit but I ignore it, silently thanking God that she doesn’t notice me.

A table at the corner of the restaurant falls and becomes my choice to sit down and eat. I never know that eating alone will feel this miserable. Probably because I can’t ever have a chance to be alone? Not to be hypocrite, I am used to being the spotlight in whatever place both of my feet step. Fans surround all around me, friends come and my bandmates are by all means, always being on my side. Being alone was something that I sometimes needed, but now I understand the true definition of being alone is. Not having the ones you love in your side can cause a really copeless pain; especially this is the girl that first glooms love in my heart that is leaving me all alone, all caused by me myself.

The cold McFlurry feels even more colder on my tounge. I don’t know why but it reminds me of the day Luna told me about the cruelty of her parents. That time, I kissed her extremely frozen-kind lips in an attempt to soothe her down. Hmm, those thin, dainty lips. Will I get the chance to kiss those two tonight?

I finish my meal and grab my phone, checking if I’ve got important messages or information of where Luna possibly is right now. But my lips somehow turn into an arch as I don’t see anyone giving informations about Luna. There are loads of messages, but none is important to me since none provides an information about Luna. Seems like my ‘’journey’’ is to be continued. In one quick movement I stand up and leave the fast-food restaurant. I need to do everything sweetly; I mean, who knows if Luna is somehow in danger?

Sydney at the night time has always been the best. City lights decorate every corner of the place, so many happy-faced people are hanging around here. But I’m not feeling anywhere to the word happy, anyway. My heart keeps pounding worriedly, with one subject dancing around in my head- Luna.

This time I walk faster, probably because my stomach is now energized with food already?

I cast a few fans walking around and giggling to each other. I remember them by heart because they asked for my autograph on the backstage on our gig just.. Around 3 days ago I think. They are sweet, nice girls. Would they be able to help if I ask them where Luna is? Probably yes. I walk and approach them, changing my voice a bit. I’m still hiding my identity since I see a new girl walking with them. It’s not that I don’t want to see her, I’m just needing every single thing to be real quick.

‘’Excuse me, ladies.’’ I clear my throat. ‘’Do you see a blonde girl, with blue eyes, looking weak, walking around over here?’’ I put the statement ‘looking weak’ because I assume Luna, literally being weak. I bet she hasn’t touched food since yesterday. She even forgot to bring her purse. This makes me feel worried, again. Oh girls, please give me a satisfying answer..

‘’A blonde?’’ One of them asks, looking somehow surprised. ‘’Looking weak? Is she the one who was on the news this evening?’’

‘’What? On the news?’’ I accidentally say with my normal  voice. Avoiding any crazier things to happen, I carefully whisper to one of them, ‘’I am Harry in disguise. I am looking for my girl, who is literally got lost by my mistake. I believe you know something about this, can we talk? Is there any private place around here? I hope you can keep this as a secret.’’

The girl, who is the same girl I met on my previous gig smiles in such a happiness. ‘’Of course! Guess the only private place is McDonalds, let’s go down there. It’s not that far.’’

I chuckle. ‘’I was just there a few minutes ago, but okay. Come on, we haven’t got so much time.’’

The girl nudges her friends. They all look at me and cast wide smiles. I really want to reward them by taking selfies with them but I guess it is slightly impossible to do this in this time. Well I can visit their house anytime, no worries. The most important matter is that I should find Luna first.

We walk five abreast back to McDonalds. Without ordering anything we immediately find a place in the corner. I open the topic first.

‘’So tell me more about the news.’’

‘’Wait, I’m opening it. It’s all over Twitter,’’ The fan says.

I wait for a moment until she finishes searching. Her face expression changes, it looks like she has got the information.

‘’Are you looking for this girl?’’ She asks as she shows her phone to me. I gasp, ‘’Luna!’’ The picture shows Luna being fainted, and is surrounded  by the crowd.

‘’I’m sorry, yeah I’m looking for her. I beg you please don’t spread this to the world.’’ I carefully speak. ‘’I want you all to keep this as a secret.’’

The four girls nod, and I continue my words.

‘’Look, I promise I’ll go back and chat to you guys again. I’ll even bring all of the boys if you want to, just give me your Twitter address.’’

The girls start giggling to each other, and they speak things like, ‘’Can you tell me this is real?’’ And so on. I only chuckle.

‘’But first tell me where Luna is right now.’’

She nods, and she speaks, ‘’According to the news, she is in the Luna Park Sydney. I don’t really know where she is right now, but I’m pretty sure she’s not so far from there. Nobody knows her identity since she doesn’t bring anything with her. It’s just her and her clothes.’’

‘’Luna Park Sydney!’’ I whimper. ‘’Oh God, does that place even exist?’’

‘’It is. It is new on Sydney.’’ One of her friends speaks.

‘’Where is it? Is it near?’’

‘’No, it’s hours away from here. Quite far.’’

‘’Oh shit!’’ I accidentally curse.

‘’Alright, girls, give me your Twitter accounts right now because I should leave really, really soon.’’ I say in rush.

They all happily give their Twitter accounts and wish me good luck. I thank them and hug them all before I leave. I choose to use a taxi because Luna Park Sydney is unfamiliar for me, and one of the girls said that it’s far away.

Luna.. How long have you walked and why are you so far away, to be found?
