CHAPTER 67

‘’Niall, Niall.’’ I worriedly speak as I knock Niall’s hotel room door. It’s been 7 A.M. and I just got a quick bath, in which I thought would sooth me down for a while, but in fact- did not at all.

‘’Niall! Damn it just open the door.’’ I say after I’ve been knocking for about 10 damn minutes. Oh God, don’t tell me this sleepyhead is still running after his dreams.

Several minutes pass by, and the state of Niall not opening the door is really upsetting me. In such a madness I groan and kick the door, even though it is still so early and I am not so supposed to make loud and banging noises in the moments like this. Especially this is a hotel.

‘’What the fuck Harry I’m still sleeping.’’ I eventually hear a sound as the door cracks opened, revealing the sleepy-faced Niall. His hair is a mess and his eyes are a flash of red- he must be still feeling so sleepy. I feel sorry to wake him up in the morning like this but what more should I do? Luna is lost and I think Niall is the only one knowing where she might have been, right now.

‘’Well Niall I need to talk.’’ I reply his words. He frowns and speaks, ‘’What should we talk about? Oi Harry don’t tell me you’re still drunk from last night because it’s freaking so early in the morning and you know me!’’

‘’But Luna is nowhere to be found and what the hell, I can’t stop thinking about her!’’ I shout as I push him and slam the door behind me. His eyes widen up in one second and he asks, ‘’L-Luna?’’

‘’Yes, Luna! She is nowhere to be found!’ I raise my voice as I repeat my already spoken words.

‘’Excuse me,’’ Niall says. ‘’I thought you were the one causing it all?’’

Niall interrupts me before I can speak, ‘’She was crying all over me yesterday , and what a dickhead you are Harry! She had bruises on her cheek!’’

I can feel myself being drown by the deep sense of guilt, but I turn around to be mad instead.

‘’I know it was all my friggin’ mistake, I know all of the stories yes I fucking know because Liam fucking told me this morning but why Niall? Why didn’t you keep her here? So at least I still can find her and won’t end up being like a crazy freak like this?’’

Niall seems to be upset while he points me and shouts, ‘’Are you blaming me?’’

‘’No! I-I was just asking!’’ I say. Oh God, why am I leading this to a fight?

‘’And if you want me to answer your questions,’’ Niall says. ‘’I wasn’t willing to let her go.’’

What does he mean by wasn’t willing to let Luna go? I gulp as I hear Niall continuing his words.

‘’She ran away from my arms and that’s it, I couldn’t catch her at all.’’ He says as he looks down- oh Lord don’t tell me he’s feeling a slight sense of guilt.

I can feel my heart and my body all tensing at the same time. Luna in Niall’s arms? This is sick, this is nothing to the word ‘right’ at all!

‘’Niall you’ve got to be kidding me.’’ I eventually manage to speak, although my breathe has gone so heavy.

Niall frowns, ‘’Kidding about what? I wasn’t kidding about Luna running- I might not be hiding her, as it has no use.’’

My fist clenches and I sharply look at him, ‘’I wasn’t asking about that,’’ I speak under my tremendously tensed breath, ‘’I was asking about the state of Luna being held in your arms!’’

‘’What’s any wrong about that? She’s just my friend and I was doing my best to soothe her down from your attack.’’

‘’Attack!’’ I madly shout. ‘’I already told you I was drunk!’’

‘’Alright Harry can you please chill-‘’

‘’How can I possibly chill! Nobody is touching my Luna!’’ I shout as I accidentally give a high five on his face. Balled high five.

Niall’s body falls down as I give him such a strong smack. However he quickly stands himself up again and look at me, ‘’Luna? She’s not even yours, Harry.’’

‘’What makes you think so naiively that she’s yours? You’ve hurt her so much, Harry, I’m just telling you.’’

I look back at him, then on the bruises on his right cheek, and back to his mouth forming words again. ‘’Harry, look, we don’t even know where she might be right now! Instead of fighting we can just ask the securities to find her.’’

I make an attempt to take a breath, my brain consuming carefully what Niall had just said. Probably he is right, and probably I am wrong to give him a ‘high five’ like that.

‘’Do we have a gig today?’’ I question.

‘’Nope, this Friday is a break for us.’’

‘’Look, I’m sorry for hitting your face. I was wrong.’’

‘’No problem Haz, I understand.’’ Niall smiles as he taps my shoulder.

I cast a small smile as I turn around and open the door.

‘’Where are you going, bro?’’

I face him one last time, ‘’Finding Luna alone.’’
