In this one I'm Lady Valire. You are Ciel's maid with Mey-Rin.
The young Lord was having a ball, he made it really clear to me that he didn't want it ruined. So he wanted me to keep an eye on Bard, Mey-Rin, and Finny. It's... not as easy as Sebastian makes it out to be. I walked over to the punch bowl and grabbed a cup and took a sip. I turned and watched as everyone was having a good time. I smiled and took another sip of punch.
"What are you doing all by yourself? Shouldn't you be having fun?" I turn to see Lady Valire. I set my cup down and curtsy to her.
"Lady Valire. I have been having fun, but I also have been keeping those three out of trouble." I say pointing out Bard, Mey-Rin, and Finny. "I just needed a drink is all."
"I see." she pauses. "Can I ask you something (Y/N)?"
"Of course my Lady."
"Do you like Finny?"
"Of course I like Finny why..."
"No. I mean as more than a friend." she says making me blush. I hadn't told anyone, how did she know? "Come on. I promise I won't tell."
"Yes." I say quietly.
"Pardon?"
"Yes. I like Finny more than just a friend."
"You two would be cute together." she says making me blush more. Just then Finny walks over.
"Hey Finny." I say.
"Hello (N/N)." he says smiling.
"If I could have everyone's attention please, Lord Phantomhive has decided to choose one lucky lady and gentleman to start the next dance." says Sebastian grabbing everyone's attention. We watched as the young Master walked around looking at everyone, until his eye lands on me. He walks over and takes my hand along with Finny's wrist and leads us to the middle of the crowd.
"I have chosen one of my maids to dance with my gardener." says Ciel as he let's go of my hand and Finny's wrist. The song starts up. We stood in shock for a second, then Finny places his hand on my waist and takes my hand with his. I put my other hand on his shoulder and we begin to dance. Soon everyone joins in, but it feels like it's only me and Finny.
It was as if everyone around us disappeared, like Finny and I were the only ones in the ballroom. We danced to the music and it felt like we had been dancing for the longest time. That is until the music lowed down and came to and end. Once it ended Finny's lips had connected with mine, but he didn't give me a chance to react before pulling away.
"I... I'm sorry." he says tearing up. He turns and runs to who knows where.
"Finny!" I yell. I start to go after him, but a hand on my shoulder stops me.
"It's too dangerous to go out there alone (Y/N)." says Ciel. I turn and look at him with concern filling my eyes.
"I need to go after him." I say desperately. Ciel's expression softens as he sighs. He moves his hand. "Thank you Young Master." I say as I turn and run after Finny. I go to the one place Finny always is. The garden. "Finny! Finny where are you!" I yell.
Then I remembered where his favorite spot is. I ran to it and sure enough there he was sitting against a tree crying into his hands. I slowly sit beside him so I didn't startle him, I pulled him into a hug. I sniffled and looked up at me a little.
"I'm... sorry... (Y/N)." he sobbed.
"For what Finny?"
"For... kissing you." he says. I smile a bit. I cup his face with my hands making him look at me.
"Finny... I... I love you. It's okay I'm not mad. I... actually... enjoyed... the kiss." I say kind of embarrassed. He looks at me in shock.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Then... will you... will you be my girlfriend (N/N)?" he asks. I smile at him.
"Of course I will Finny."
