~flashback~
~present~
I walked out of class and met up with a couple of my friends. I was finishing up my fourth year at Kiyomi high school. I was glad to know that I could go out into the real world as my own person. I would be able to go to college and become whatever I wanted to be.
"So (Y/N), how long are you going to make us wait to meet your boyfriend?" asks Kina. She had short light blue hair with violet eyes.
"Yeah we would like to meet the guy who won your heart." says Tsu while playing with her short pink hair and making lovey dovey eyes with her blue eyes. Ryota rolls his light green eyes and flips his dark green hair.
"Um... well... he's really busy with his job... so... I'm not sure." I say hugging my books to my chest. Even though I've been friends with them for a few years I'm still shy around them. Considering my past.
"I bet she doesn't have one. Every time we want to meet him she always says he working." says Ryota.
"Oh come on Ry. You know (Y/N) doesn't lie." says Tsu. Ryota and I are friends, to outsiders it might sound like he's always mean to me, but it's not like that. It's just how he talks, his parents aren't the best role models if I may say.
"Listen I'll talk to him and see if he's up for meeting you guys." I say. Tsu and Kina squeal and they both hug me.
"Girls. Can't... breathe." I huff out.
"Sorry." they say in unison as they pull away. Ryota ruffles my long (H/C) hair. I duck away from him and fix my hair, I playfully glare at him with my (E/C) eyes.
"I just want you guys to promise me that you won't judge him until you get to know him. He and I both have a past that should be forgotten." I say looking at the three of them. They look at one another then back at me.
"We promise." they say in unison. I smile at them.
"Great!" I say. "Well come on Tsu we have a project to work on and I would like to get as much done as we can before I have to go home." I say to Tsu.
"Yeah let's go. We'll see you two on Monday." says Tsu as we make our way to the library. Once inside we sat a table and start our research. An hour passes by and I began to get bored so I thought back to when I met my amazing boyfriend Juuzou Suzuya.
I had been taken by a ghoul at a young age. The ghoul who took me, was Big Madam. She kept me as more of a maid or as I see it a slave. That was were I met Juuzou. He was taken to be Big Madam's pet, her fighter. I felt bad for him. He became numb to pain and fear, his morals were crushed and changed. On the other hand I had became obedient, shy, and fearful.
"(Y/N)!" called Big Madam. I looked at the floor as I walked over to her.
"Yes ma'am?" I ask.
"Take Juuzou to his room and clean him up." she says. I nod my head. I take Juuzou's hand and lead him to his room. I sat him on a chair and grabbed a wet washcloth and started wiping away the blood. I try avoiding looking up at him.
"I've seen you around before. What's your name?" he asks.
"(Y/N)." I say shyly.
"Pretty name." he says.
"Thank you. Your name is Juuzou. Right?" I ask looking up at him. He smiles and nods his head. I blush, but smile back.
"(Y/N)" Tsu whispers waving her hand in front of my face.
"Huh?" I ask blinking quickly and looking at Tsu.
"You spaced out." she giggled making me blush. I looked down at the pile of books and got back to work. About two hours later Tsu and I had most of what we needed wrote down in our notebooks, so we put the books away and packed our things. We walked out of the library and went our separate ways.
I walked passed a few allies on my way down the street, that is until I got pulled into one and slammed against the side of a building. I yelped and looked at who was behind it. It was an older man with dark blue hair and light purple eyes. He smiled at me, but it was a creepy smile.
"You'll do just fine." he says.
"L-let go of me." I say trying to get away from the man. He pushed me harder against the building.
"Now why would I let my supper get away from me?" he asks. His eyes turn crimson red as he smirks at me. My eyes widen with fear, I struggled harder to get away. He lowers head down to my neck and chuckles. I felt tears threating to spill. I didn't want to die. The guy opened his mouth and got closer to my neck, that's when the dam broke and the tears streamed down my face.
"Get off! Someone! Help!" I cried out.
"Let go of her." growled a new voice. The ghoul stopped and looked at who had spoken.
"Wait your turn. You'll be up next." He said and looked back at me. "Now where were we?" he asks. Before he could do anything he ended up on his back on the ground. I looked at my savior, I smiled when I saw who it was.
"Juuzou!" I say happily. Juuzou walked over to the ghoul, scythe in hand. The ghoul sat up a little and glared at Juuzou.
"You were going to eat my girlfriend. You ghouls don't deserve to live." He said sounding scary, but I wasn't afraid of him.
"I bet she's delicious." the ghouls replies licking his lips. That's what got to Juuzou, he swung his scythe. The ghouls head fell to the ground, the body fell soon after and blood pooled around the body. Juuzou put his quinque away and walked over to me.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he questioned. I throw my arms around him and hug him tightly.
"Just shaken up, but other than that I'm fine." I say. Juuzou picks me up bridal style making me squeal.
"Let's get home." he says carrying me back to the house which was only a block away. When we get inside he carries me to our shared room and lays me in the bed. He crawls in beside of me. I get close to him and wrap my arms around him, he hug me close to his chest.
"Thanks for saving me back there. I thought I was going to be eaten." I say laying my head on his chest. I could hear his steady heart beat.
"Anything for you my sweet. Nothing is going to hurt you while I'm here." he says kissing the top of my head.
"I know this maybe too soon, but... my friends wanted to meet you. I understand if you're busy with work, but they really..."
"I'd love to meet them." he says cutting off my rambling. I look up at him and smile.
"Great! I will have to let them know you said yes." I say. He leans down and kisses me. When we pull away we look into each others eyes.
"I love you (Y/N)." he says.
"I love you too Juuzou." I say. We lay there until we fall asleep in each others arms.
