I have not read Pride and Prejudice so... yeah.
It was the last class of the day and we finished the lesson early so we were able to do whatever we wanted for the last fifteen minutes. I pulled out my book and picked up reading where I had left off last. My glasses were sliding down, so I pushed them up. I tried to immerse myself into the world of Pride and Prejudice, but I found it very difficult to do so since everyone was talking so loud. I let out a quiet sigh.
"Hey (Y/N)-chan what'cha reading?" asks the boy sitting beside me. I felt my face heat up and the anxiety kick in so I remained quiet.
"Come on you know she's a dandere. You're never gonna get her to talk to you." says the boy sitting in front of me.
"The both of you just leave her alone." says my best friend. Soon I was able to become immersed into my book and everything around me becomes quiet. I can see the images vividly in my mind as I read. That is until (BFF)-chan snaps her fingers in front of my face. I blink my eyes and look at her.
"You know you're such a dandere right?" she asks. My face heats up again.
"W-well you're a deredere (BFF)-chan." I retort causing her to blush.
"Come on I want you to come to the Host Club with me this time." she says while I pack my bag.
"I don't know..."
"You'd get to see Kyoya~senpai." she sings. My heart races as I think about Kyoya-senpai. He's a year older than us, but I have a crush on the raven haired host. I grab my bag and reluctantly follow (BFF)-chan to the host club. Once there she ditched me to go sit with Honey-senpai and Mori-senpai.
I quietly make my way over and sit with Kyoya-senpai and a few of the other girls who had requested to sit with him. I held my book close to my chest, seeing as it helps to calm my nerves. I listen tentatively as Kyoya-senpai is talking to the other girls. Until I caught his attention and he turned to talk to me.
"I don't think I've seen you in here before my dear." he says pushing his glasses up.
"Of course you haven't Kyoya-senpai. She's that dandere girl in my class. She rarely ever talks and she's always got her nose stuck in a book." says one of the girls glaring at me.
"And what book do you have with you today?" he asks.
"P-pride and P-prejudice." I say. My voice is a very soft tone due to the fact that I don't talk much. Not even around (BFF)-chan.
"Really?" he asks. I nod my head.
"I-it's my favorite book. I-I've read it three time a-already... working on the fourth t-time a-as we speak." I say.
"What chapter are you in now?" he asks.
"I just started chapter eighteen."
"Ah. You're at the part where they went to the ball. When Elizabeth and Jane are trying to get information about Wickham." he says.
"You... you've read Pride a-and prejudice?"
"A couple of times actually. What is your favorite part?"
"Chapter eighteen. I find it interesting to re-read. What's yours?"
"I have to say It's when Darcy proposes to Elizabeth. That's when the whole thing takes a turn."
"That's right. Since Elizabeth didn't like him at first it turns it around and shows her love for him grow." I say smiling at him, feeling more comfortable.
"How... how are you doing that?" asks one of the girls.
"Doing what?" asks Kyoya-senpai.
"How are you getting her to talk to you like that?" asks the same girl.
"We have something in common I guess." he says. I sat with Kyoya-senpai up until Tamaki-senpai said that the club was closed. All the girls sounded really upset about it, but I was beaming with happiness. I got to sit with and talk to Kyoya-senpai. I stood up to go meet (BFF)-chan, until Kyoya-senpai stopped me.
"I would like to talk to you for a moment." he says. Once the other girls left Honey-senpai runs over dragging (BFF)-chan behind him.
"(BFF)-chan is my newest best friend!" says Honey-senpai. "Usa-chan really likes her." I turn and look at Kyoya-senpai.
"What did you want to talk about senpai?" I ask.
"I was wondering if you wanted to have a cup of coffee with me and talk about Pride and Prejudice tomorrow afternoon. We don't have the club tomorrow since it's a free day for us hosts."
"I'd love that senpai!" I say excitedly.
"Great! Until tomorrow than." he says. I nod my head. (BFF)-chan and I walk out of the room.
"Such a dandere." she says.
"Such a deredere." I retort.
"I'm not a deredere." she whines puffing out her cheeks in a pout. I giggle at her.
"Just like I'm not a dandere." I say.
"So you're going on a date with Kyoya-senpai than?" she asks.
"We're just having a conversation tomorrow about my favorite book." I say as my face heats up.
"Yeah while having coffee. Sounds like a date to me." Then it hits me. It is a date.
"Oh my god! I'm going on a date with senpai!" I say hugging the book close to my chest. Now it was (BFF)-chan's turn to giggle at me.
